I have been using a Game Golf live unit this season and overall I am very happy with it. Sure there were a few learning curves but once you get those down it does give some great feedback about the status of my game and what needs attention. My question to you is for those of you who use one of these how many tags have you broken/ lost during a round or just going in and out of the bag. Is there a better way out there to keep using this system without putting the screw tag in the butt of the club? I realize you will still need to tag each club to the sensor, just trying to think out of the box and possibly figure something out better. I have lost/ damaged at least 4 tags where the end cap came off at some point. Wondering if anyone out there had similar issues and found a work around...

My friend had game golf as well and I know a lot of his tags broke off.

 

I don't know, you could maybe just have all your tags sitting out of the clubs and then when you get up to the teebox say, you could put the driver one in your pocket, go up to the teebox and just hit the tag against it, then hit your shot and then do the same thing with the other shots. I think that'd work, maybe. ;)

I have had the same set in my Modern clubs since GG came out.

I have put tags on wine corks. On the other end of the cork i put in a small screw in eyelet. run a spiral cord through the eyelet and space them out and hook the spiral cord to your belt loop. The system has worked for my Hickory shafted clubs.

Any advice for forgetting to tag? God damn I just can't seem to remember once my round is going. Especially putting.

I was this way at first, but it eventually becomes habit. I've been using GG since March 2015 and if I play a round and forget the unit or didn't charge it I end up tagging my belt as it is a part of my PSR.

If you forget to tag the unit picks up you've made a swing and contacted the ball, it won't pick up a practice swing, when you get home and hook up to the computer and upload the round you can edit to select what club you hit where

Losing tags can be an issue depending on what brand of grip you have. On my Pure grips, the tags won't stay put (though a small dab of super glue fixes this), but on my tour velvet grips, I've never had a single tag fall out.

Not sure the best way to deal with lost tags other than using one of the spare tags to replace them. However, for broken tags... GameGolf will replace them if you reach out to them. I've had my GG Live system for two years and contacted support when my 8-iron tag broke earlier this month. They sent me a replacement and I had it within a week.

Help! I tried Game Golf for the time on my iPhone and Apple watch, doing it manually to track clubs. I liked it and am considering purchasing the Live version. Unfortunately, now a couple of days later, my apple watch is opening the App like there is a round of golf going on. I shut down the app on the AW and it opens back up again. Is anyone else having this problem and if so, how do I stop it? I didn't notice it the first time and it drained my battery by the end of the day.
