DG xp95 s300 Questions? Vapor fly pros

Does anyone know if these shafts spin a lot or what the actual weight is? I love the irons and they seem very hot but with those shafts I seem to get an excessive amount of spin or something as they go really high and drop short of my vapor pro combos with c taper lites. I am assuming it's spin but does anyone else have any feedback on those shafts or know much about them? They feel ok an seem to be consistent and dispersion is ok but im not getting the distance i should be i dont think.

I was fit with xp115 and hit them very high, spin was ok but higher than regular s300s for sure. I would imagine the ctaper lite to spin similar to ctaper so very different audience imo .

I love the c taper lites but these xp95 seem to spin a ton, I don't mind height but I need distance

I have the TT XP 95 S300 in a set of Callaway Apex CF16 irons. I've been on a launch monitor several times and they actually do not have excess spin for me. Around 5600-5800 on average with the 7 iron. However, they do produce a very high ball flight, although the ball doesn't balloon.

 

I recently ordered a set of Mizuno JPX 900 Forged with C-Taper Lite Reg flex hardstepped 1x and the ball flight is much more penetrating, which is what I was looking for. I have not been on a launch monitor to check spin with the CT-L shafts, but my dispersion is much better than the XP 95 and I much prefer the ball flight with the Mizuno's.

Yeah I'm looking for shafts now, I love the lites and may even try some modus 105 but I just prefer mid flight for me it's easier to control

So i have been playing these for about a year and i love the iron heads, not the shafts. I recently installed X100 at a shorter length in my 9 and 7 irons to try it out and i am going to be doing this to the rest of my set. My ball flight would be too high and my miss hits were related to the longer shafts that came in the VFPs. My only question/concern is how shortening up the shafts will affect my swing weights for the club???

Been trying to score a set of Vapor pro combos myself. Looking to bore out the heads for the project x satins I have lying around. Great heads!

 

If your hitting the 95 gram XP, it's too light. The modus 105 in x would be nice...closer to the ctaper lite X.
