I’m not convinced Ping and forged go together. I will be interested to see if these feel/sound good. This has never been Pings “blueprint”. BB

 

I'm a little apprehensive too. They haven't really been in the forged iron game up to this point. I don't know that I'd really be 100% confident with a blade in my hand either. I'd actually be interested if they we're hollowed out to be a more "players" version of the i500. I think those just go too damn far.

Strange... I'm running that PW image, and it's only 41º from the loft to the hosel angle... anyone else confirm this?

Ugh, who could play with shovels like that. Give me the softest single atom of Japanese steel forged deep under Mount Fuji by master craftsmen who have never been to the Earth's surface at the end of a rebar pole any day.

 

Just curious, why would master craftsmen living deep under Mt. Fuji feel the need to go to the earth's surface at the end of a rebar pole? Surely there are easier ways of getting there?

First thing I would do would be to remove the paint fill in blueprint. Other than that and the screw they look totally awesome. If they feel better than my 56's I'll buy them. They look absolutely stunning at address.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I’m pretty certain in a head to head pole, these would beat the 760’s convincingly.

I am hoping that these are somewhat forgiving as the iblades I have are unbelievable in that aspect. Also hope they aren't hollow but that lack of offset and sharp leaning edge screams nike mix of the vapor pro and the vr pro blades.

I wouldn't rule out regular, power, and retro spec lofts. Still no way they have a 41º PW. Power spec PW in the i500 is 44.0°.

Yep. That's what I was trying to allude to in an earlier post but didn't want to be the first to say it. Some tour guys have tested but still can't get them.
