Hey all

Wanted to share a project I just wrapped up. I live in a place where it's barely habitable for six months a year (MI) and wanted to give myself some practice facilities to use in the winter. Since I didn't have the ceiling height for a full blown simulator, I figured let's sharpen the short game.

Total material cost was just under $700. Labor was free except the beers and pizza I used to lure my buddies over. I'm not super handy by any means, but this was actually pretty fun and I'm super happy with how it turned out.

Anyway, I'm attaching the plans and material list here in case anyone gets a similar itch.

Looks Pretty cool. Did you build any breaks in or is it all straight putts?

I've never considered doing construction in socks before. Kind of the opposite of steel toed boots.

For now it's just flat. I did purchase the countour shim pack with the green. They are various shapes and slide under the green.

I want to let it settle a bit first.

And the socks..yeah I didn't say my buddies were the brightest. But no toes lost.

I’m currently in the process of building a 4’x8’ putting green for my garage. I will be able to shim underneath of it to create slight breaks in it. Getting cups this weekend for it. Pretty excited. Your green looks awesome!

Looks awesome, I gotta do this is my downstairs rec room I don't use for this winter, I don't have the ceiling height for the raised platform like you have though. Nice to have the chipping area to dial in some touchy greenside chips, and thankfully no drywall yet in case ya blade one haha. Nice job.

Good work. A buddy of mine did this in his garage and loved being able to putt in the winter.
