Taylormade Survey free 4 ball back TP/TP5x

Still waiting here too. Oddly enough I've seen the 4 ball trial packs listed on Ebay already.

I'm pretty sure these have existed for quite some time. I remember seeing a rep around here having some of them at a demo day

Actually if it weren’t for this thread I would have forgotten about the entire thing. I’m always skeptical about free stuff, so if they never show up i doubt I’ll even remember they were supposed to be coming (unless I stumble into the thread again).

Been playing them all season. The hype is real, they’re a great ball. Just remember the 5 is more spin than the 5x, which I didn’t know when I bought the first “few” dozen.

I think TM forgot that GolfWRX, HP, MGS and other forums exists. I bet they planned for maybe a few thousand people to respond but got like 20k instead. We'll probably see balls in December or later.

I'm sure TM knew what it was doing. Take some soon-to-be-previous-generation TP5/x balls that were lingering in a warehouse anyway, repackage and give them away in exchange for some survey research. If 5 percent of the recipients play them, love them and then go buy the new ball when it comes out, it's a huge success.

 

As far as when we'll get them, I agree it's probably December. For most of the country, the balls aren't going to see grass until March or later anyways.

I’ve always felt I end up a little ahead on eBay. Mostly because I can charge for the shipping. It’s almst always more than the eBay fees.
