Grabbed this Cameron last night from a guy, hour drive away but I'm stoked on it. Apparently its been to the custom shop for the Canadian theme paintfill. Thing is in great shape for its age as well, looks better in person than the pics he used for the ad. Cant wait to give it a go. He also had used a different scotty headcover on it so the original is mint.

For $70 I couldnt walk away from this one, the milling and the soft bumpers mugged my Paypal account. Probably in the back up bag but it feels great.

Oops... just picked this up at the golf shop after trying it out a few times - Ping Vault 2.0 ZB Stealth with tungsten weights (+15g). Upgrading from an old (~12yo) but trusty Scotty Cameron Newport Select.

Thought about holding off and ordering one fresh with a flattened lie, but figure I'll just try this out and get it bent if I end up needing to.

I know that I posted about my MacGregor Bobby Grace M5K auction that I won but I figured it’s gorgeous enough for my own photos (as opposed to the seller’s):

I picked this up as a high-MOI but also nostalgic experiment but it feels so good that it might be my putter.

What is a straight arc? Is it like a jumbo shrimp?

It must be another “Tales from the Tour” jargon, lol.....

You can order from Ping 2 versions that are described by Ping on their website. "Straight arc" is for a straight back straight through type of stroke. "Slight arc" is the other option where the toe of the putter is slightly more weighted for a more arc type stroke. I hope this helps you fellas in the future when you run into this description again.

For the past three years, I've only used head-heavy, face-balanced putters, which I felt went best with a SBST stroke. Everything I try feels kind of... I don't know, forced? Like no matter what I do, I can't lose the tension. A few days ago I decided to loosen up my stroke a bit and just let my shoulders do what they want to do, rather than trying to force a SBST stroke. I also wanted to give a lighter putter head a whirl to see what that would do. I've long felt that it's difficult to pull the putter head back naturally when the head is heavier.

So anyways, I picked up a very gently used Odyssey White Hot Pro 2.0 #1 at GG for $49 ($10 after I used some credit). It took exactly one practice session to feel good about my experiment. It just feels more natural and comfortable, like the putter is an extension of my arms. I don't know if my putting will improve at all necessarily (that's still TBD), but it's a worthy experiment. I feel less tense, so that should help.

Plus, the WHP insert is so smooth.

I picked up a 6.5K with the grip worn right off of it for $25. A friend tried it and liked a lot...asked me how much. I said if you love it keep it, it's yours. After that he putt lights out and paid for my next 2 rounds + beer lol

I’ve been on this kick where I’ve been buying a bunch of milled, “designer” flatsticks (TP Mills, Scotty, Grace, Betti, Kirk Currie, etc.). Nothing is high end, although all of it is... Butt not, if that makes sense?

No lie, the Grace is so stable, it may be my gamer and I loathe the word gamer. It is that fantastic, on the carpet.

I would suggest adding Tad Moore to your list of milled putters to pick up on the cheap.
