Pulling a Shaft out of a JDM OnOff Kuro Driver ... Help

I have a Golf Mechanix shaft puller and torch but the hosel and ferrule on my buddies 2015 OnOff Kuro driver seems to be integrated.

Has anyone extracted a shaft and re-shafted one of these? Hints or guidance is appreciated.

No no no, don't do reshaft OnOff Kuro Driver.

Send to OME brands company manufacture will make reshaft custom. It's craftmaster from Japan.

Tell your buddy. Send to Japan the company manufacturing OME Kuro driver reshaft.

I appreciate the replies guys ..... Take a look at my signature. I'm pretty familiar with JDM equipment and purchased my 1st set of OnOff Kuro Irons from Tour Spec Golf ( I've owned 4 )

Sending the driver to Japan ain't happening so if it turns out that it's a weird proprietary procedure I'll suggest he sell the club if the shaft spins too much.

Maybe another member has experience.

I agreed. Sell the club. It's better than..cant fix the club from Japan. very risky!

These look an awful like the older Callaway and Ping drivers with the sleeves in the head. I would investigate how those are pulled and use the same technique. If you aren't saving the shaft, the easiest method is as above and carefully drill out the old shaft and then reshaft.

Not to offend Opinder here, but it isn't rocket science here. It's just a 2 piece hosel and doesn't require being sent back to Japan for reshafting.

Yup, spot on. They are your two options - spiral flute extractor or cut and drill. Personally I would use the extractor option and that is what I did many times with a similar old Onoff head. Provided you do it carefully, you can reuse the sleeve. I'd be loathe to cut and drill and ruin the likely (valuable) Roddio shaft currently in the head.

Even though I did manage to reuse the sleeve, I took the precaution of tracking down a spare Onoff sleeve and ferrules, just in case of damage to the old sleeve. Onoff do not make these generally available and so they are rare as hen's teeth. The sleeve is about 1.75" long with just over 1" epoxied into the head. The ferrules are Onoff collared ferrules. I still have the new sleeve and ferrules pictured below and will drop you a pm.
