Anyone Still Play Adams?

Probably my favorite bag is XTD Driver, fairway, and hybrid along with CMB irons. It plays to me just as good as the modern equipment too. It really hurt to see Adams get bought out by Taylormade. You can see Taylormade use a lot of Adams later designs too. Anyone still got love for Adams equipment?

That's the one Adams driver the last five or six years I have never hit. It's a shame because people seem to swear by it.

Still rotate a XTD Ti hybrid with a 9031 and just put aside my MB2's, not because they aren't great just wanted to try something newer. I have found nothing better and have hit a few of the newer popular offerings. And still have a few older PNT heads waiting for a rainy day. Agree 100% on the TM purchase.

I still play CB3s and have the Fast LS in the bag of past drivers.

Speedline Tech Driver, 8.5° and 10.5° heads with maybe 7-8 shafts between them.

 

Also the a7 hybrid / iron set finds it's way into the Winter bag quite often. Not a forged set but in the low temperature in the Winter, I couldn't tell the difference between this set and the forged set. Definitely more durable used in the soft and sandy condition.

My bro in law plays the Els XTDs and loves them. My buddy I play with still rocks the A12 pros......They made really good quality equipment.

I play one of the old 18 deg Pro hybrids. Don’t even remember exactly what model it is anymore..? Love the club though. The MB2 irons were money as well. Still have a set I could put back into play if need be. They made solid clubs.

I played a4 forged irons for years and years until I needed to meet CoC. I still think the a4 is the best forged iron ever made.

 

I currently bag a Tight Lies 2 fairway wood. I'm a big fan of the Tight Lies series of woods, designed "sole"y for use off the ground. Low profile and a 2-3 degrees flatter. Gorgeous woods.

 

The Taylormade $250 GAPR clubs are just DHYs with a new paintjob. The clubs are virtually identical.

Still playing my XTD forged and dont know if Id ever part with them. May just by another set. Also playing a 17 deg black super hybrid. Fairway finder when I need it.

Have a XTD Ti 3 hybrid still in the bag. Had the 2017 M1 3 hybrid at the beginning of season that I purchased in a set but quickly sold it after trying it next to the XTD Ti

XTD irons which I’ve played for 3 years. I also rotate between a Super LS and Tight Lies 2 3 wood depending how I feel about my swing. There is also a Super S driver sitting in my back up bag.

9015d is good driver when i start slicing, really helps me focus on extending the hand through impact

The CMB irons are the most beautiful set I’ve ever played. Only reason I switched is because I’m a helpless ho.

Still play the XTD hybrid - very hard to beat it.
