Played Mizuno for 10 years+, Endo forging through Bridgestone (J15cb) was noticeably softer then my 53s,64s, and MP4s. I love Mizzy but Bridgestone defeated them quite handedly. You may find some Boutique irons that are as soft but it will not be easy.

Any new Bridgestone irons I should be hitting? The J15 cbs are great looking irons!

Absolutely, the new X-CB and X-BL.

The BL is a blended set of cavity back and muscle back. They look fantastic.

That said, even to this day you will never find a better combination of incredibly soft feel, great performance, and incomparable forgiveness in a player's iron.

Ping i210. Very forgiving and as soft a cast club as you can find. I'm obviously biased, but I purchased them because I think they have all the players iron qualities I wanted in the most forgiving package.

Do these clubs have quite a bit of offset?

Lee Westwood just won with them... they must have something, but I doubt it's a lot of offset. Ping's Tour Players are playing them.

Very soft feel - very.

The 210s look good. They are on my list, and I am anxious to see how they “feel” compared to the other forged irons on my list.

They do feel amazing, tried them with the i500 and the feel and consistency blew the i500 out of the water.

They seem like they could be a great value as their price tag is much lower than all of the other clubs I will be testing.

J15CB...

Ask Matt Kuchar ( won with them today )

Seems that nobody wants to sell me a set hahaha! How do the new offerings from Bridgestone compare to these, and are they going to be releasing new irons soon?

I personally did not like the Tour B X-CB as much as my J15CB irons. The new Tour B X-CB coming out in 2019 might be different. They look like a nice blend of the J15CB and current Tour B X-CB

Nothing is safe in my bag!

I don't know if you can consider the P760's to be player's CB irons (what's that even mean now a days anyway??) but they are extremely soft and seemed pretty forgiving on my typical low on the face miss hit. 919 Forged seemed very forgiving also but were not as soft, especially on anything low or toe side.

They are OnOff 2015 Kuro Irons and they are like Hen's teeth now to find. I get private messages from guys asking me to help them find a set or sell them my back-up set.

Yes I have dabbled in trying to find them, but no one carries them for a demo. They do look sexy as hell though.

I have a 2017 model I'll sell....I'll include the porn japanese newspaper they came with as packaging material, lol

I would love to see them.

If you do actually hit most of these, and some I don’t know you’re going to find, but if you do, your head is going to explode trying to make a decision.

Tried Titleist ap2, mizuno mp5, cobra forged mb/cb, ping anser forged, taylormade 2014 mc, srixon z765, miura cb57, among a few other sets and nothing beats the j40 DPC for forgiveness and soft feel. Awesome super soft and the slightly longer heel to toe length combined with the sole/turf interaction and the pockets in muscle provides a surprising amount of forgiveness. There's a reason Fred Couples still bags them!

Close second would be the Adams CMB irons. Surprised no one has mentioned these.

Love my Bridgestone J15 CB's!

Granted that there might be a few blades that are softer but I don't believe there is a better combo of Look, Feel, Forgiving, Performance for the COST then the J15 CB's. Over the years, I've gamed or tested most all. J15 CB's are the Total Package!

... Just a personal preference from playing a similar look for so many years, but I like a smaller/mid size iron head. That said, hitting the DPC's at the PGAShow on demo day I was just blown away by how good they felt and how forgiving they were. If I could play a longer heel to toe iron, these would be at the top of my list.
