I’m looking at adding the 760s 8-PW to my bag, so I’m glad to hear that they made it as far as they did in your shoot out. I also play the modus 120s and love them. Probably one of the best iron shafts that I’ve ever gamed!

It's like a unicorn here at WRX haha I just love the irons and have so much confidence looking down at them.

I could easily play them. TM did a great job with the 760's, only downside is the price right now.

I am too! Im looking forward to testing over the winter. The Epic Flash SZ, MIzuno ST190G, Ping G410, Cobra F9.... the list goes on. So many good drivers hitting the market in '19 :superman:

Yeap. The z745's are excellent irons. I got a set a few years ago brand new off of Ebay with perfect shaft for me (950gh) and were even 2 degrees flat (again perfect, no need to adjust) for 500 bucks! Some outfit that was probably clearing inventory. Played for one season and then sold over Winter which was idiotic. Kept playing my old Ping S55's but wanted the 745's back. Then saw a new set about 6 months ago on major online retailer with DG S300's. Bit the bullet and bought em then of course reshafted them. Expensive mistake on my part. This set will not be sold. lol..

I never read the witb threads but that was a very entertaining podcast. Interviewing wrx users should be the whole format of the show, or at least a very regular segment.

Lesson learned ! In all fairness the 785's are really good i just wished they went back to the 745 offset. Maybe the 805's :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it and I agree. It's great to put a personality to a screen name and I believe Knudson told me they are planning to ramp up member WITB interviews in 2019.

Honestly, I don't know. I know about 10 were made and I was lucky enough to get one because Rob is a good friend of mine. With that said I have a few new contenders to compete with the Modena. So far it's beaten everything including the Tensei Orange, Kuro Kage XT DC, and T1100. When the weather turns I plan on getting everything out for a driver/shaft shootout

Looks like a 718 AP2 to me :)

 

They are similar in size as the Ap2's but have straighter lines and pointier toe section which I love. If you've never tried them I suggest it. Soft as butta ;)
