That weighting pattern says anti-slice to me. Back and to the left.

The standard 785 has the same exact back weight position, slightly draw biased. See Crossfield's video on it, Dan mentions it.

I did not read thru the whole original topic but... this pic up top also has a weight port near the front of the club. The original doesn't. Which page from that first thread talks about this other configuration?

Ugh. I get different colors, but a CLEAR club?

:to_become_senile:

Looks awesome. This would be lower spinning and launching theoretically. Hmm......

  • 3 weeks later...

585, 785 and then maybe this is the 985 driver?

This one also has Z785 on the sole. Hard to see since the sole is so light in the picture.

Wow, how did I not see this thread? I'm intrigued. The weight in mine isn't much... Can't remember off the top of my head , but it might be 8g? So how much of a difference does it make to move 6g from back low to front? How much spin will that kill?

Sort of...it has been listed as "Not Available" since the release of the driver. So they have pictures of a weight kit, I'm not so sure they actually sell them though.

Yeah, I know that i can fine tune the weights. I'm just curious about how much weight they will be able to move from the back to the front. If the stock weight is around 8-10g then they have 6-8g of discretionary weight that they could move forward. 2g weight in back and 6-8g weight in front. So my question is, how much of a change will a 6-8g weight shift make for launch angle and spin rate. (All of this assumes that they haven't changed the internal structure to give more discretionary weight.)

Are there two weights? I only see one in the pictures. My question is why is the kit $75? It appears there are four weights in the kit and each weight sells for $15. $15 extra for the bag? If stock is an 8g weight you do not need that one in the kit I would think.

What am I missing?

The picture from the OP has 2 weights. The normal one in the back and one toward the face. I have no idea about the pricing on the weights. I assume that they change the stock weight based off of factory head weight and if the customer has anything custom for shaft length. I think i read in the other thread that someone had a stock weight that was 10g.

Thanks for that. I was referring to the drivers they sell and the weight kits they sell. In the op picture there are two weights but cannot really tell if they are same size. Rear weight in pic appears to be the same as current weights. Front appears to be different color at the least.
