A couple full face milling models showing up on the bay now. From Japan of course.

Latrobes have always been full face milled. Do you have links for others?

Have you not looked at any of the pictures in this thread? Scroll to the top of this page and you'll see a San Francisco with the full face mill. If you follow the link to the Japan site they all have the full face milling also.

You said they were on eBay. The only full face milling on eBay is a Latrobe. And yes I’ve seen the Palm Beach in person this summer. I have been in this thread since the start

I never said they were on eBay but someone else may have. The only ones I've seen are the pictures on here and the link to the Japan site.

Dang man. Sorry for whatever I did to you but I just said there are pictures of the full face milling on here and in the Japan site link and all the sudden I'm someone that doesn't have access to information of some sort and you took pictures on the van.

Sorry again.

Sorry about that.

I've known Sean for like 25 years since I was a club pro in Wisconsin and used to buy clubs from him when he was with Zevo so I've kept up with him pretty well.

On a side note what is the top line like on the first run Madison? I have a Madison that was built for me on their tour truck and the top line is kind of rolled and I was wondering if any of the other Madisons were like that.

No worries! I will say that the top line of my Madison is fairly flat. Slightly softened edges but, fairly flat. I wouldn’t consider it rolled at all

I hope that full face mill softens its up a little bit. I have always felt the face on the toulons are firm...

I’ve been told it changes the sound a bit. It is still a 303 stainless putter. It will still be pretty firm. With the sound change it may seem softer. If that makes sense

Can you see/feel the mill marks on the top? I'll take a picture of mine when the sun gets a little better. It's hard to pick up the radius.

No I do not see any mailing the lines on the top line of my putter just on the sides of the cavity on the heel/toe

Yeah that one is much flatter than mine but exactly the same other than that.

I really like the roll top look. For me it's easier to line up because my eyes tend to focus in on broad flat areas. That doesn't look as bad but I had a BB8-H Bettinardi that had a really wide and flat top line that I really struggle to line up.

I see the option of fly mill instead of the deep diamond milling on the face. If that comes to the garage what an incredible option.

How does that putter feel compared to the pre-odyssey toulons or the newer ones?

The fly mill will feel even former than the Deep Diamond Milling. The full face Deep Diamond Milling like the Latrobe or the Palm Beach posted above will feel/sound different. The deep diamond Milling hasn’t really changed from the inception of Toulon and the transition to Odyssey. This is the first real change with the full face milling.

There were work a few prototypes/one off’s that were made for tour pros that had the fly milling. Most notably, for me was the San Diego supposedly made for Hideki Matsuyama.

Oh man no sole plate. That’s awesome. To me that’s the weak link in toulons....

Why? I kind a like the adjustability.

I never really cared for adjustability in a putter but I play half of my golf on slower resort greens and half on very fast greens. I through the stainless weight in on the slower greens in a lot more than I ever thought I would have and it really helps me adjust.

Very good point. Also, since most Toulon putters come with a super stroke grip, if you change to a light grip, it is sometimes necessary to adjust head weight to get back the feel/balance that you’re used to.
