I would say Epon but as much as I love their irons, couldn’t get along w their wedges.

Haha, I also had some epon tours and I didn't get along with them.

Vega and Kyoei and the same thing. As well as Yururi.

So which is it? Fell or forgiveness?

Why not both feel and forgiveness? Why settle. Really a wedge doesnt need to be that forgiving.

Very true. Of what you have listed, the Kyoei KK's looks pretty awesome. I think with your choices, the forgiveness is a wash. They're all blade style wedges, so it really comes down to your preference of bounce and loft combos to best suit your courses and swing characteristics

I tended to hit them fat I believe. I cant remember what shafts were in them. I was not fit for them and only had them for about a week. I believe it was the standard tour, not the s.

Maybe I should give the tour-s a try. I did order the black miura tour.

I tried the Fourteen RM-22 Raw back in January and although I liked the look the feel fell short of my Scratch Forged wedges. The bounce options

with most Japanese companies is always a challenge for me. I like bounce on my SW and less on my LW .

Epon Tour Wedges are lovely.

The F grind for gap wedge is excellent for full shot.

The N grind for sand wedge is versatile which is both good for full shots and delicate chip shots around the green.

The O grind for lob wedge is just perfect for opening up and creating flop shots and bunker shots.

The bounce on each of the wedges are just enough to be effective without being too chunky.

Vega's are some really good wedges. I really liked the feel of my VW-04 and VW-06, but they wore out pretty fast. Raw wedges just look so good behind the ball and not glaring up in the sun or in bunkers makes life easier. Prefer the MD Forged now which has the right aspect of bounce, sole and feel equally soft. In fact, the 60 reminds me of a 1018 Scratch I still have.

I've recently switched to the Miura 2018 Milled Tour wedges and I really like them. Excellent feel, easy to hit different shots with, and I am huge fan of the simple/clean look.. I've only had limited time with them, maybe 3-4 rounds, but they have performed well and have been surprisingly easy to get used to/dialed in. Looking forward to a full season with them!

EDIT: I should add that I have gamed Vokeys for years (SM5, SM6, and SM7) prior to the switch.

Fourteen FH-Forged V1. Just picked up a 54 & 58 in Tokyo late last year to replace my older RM-22s. LOVE these wedges. Feel, spin and distance control is as good as I have ever played.

What shaft did you get them with? Interested in hearing feedback about the stock NS Pro T-114W wedge shaft option that they made especially for these clubs. I have these on my short list for possible replacements to my 60* this year.

a few balls and tees,

one unwavering spirit that loves the game

Just re-shafted my Epon Tour 52 with an Accra Tour 110i TiMesh today. Just beautiful feeling at the range today. Matches well with my OnOff irons. Hopefully having my 56 shafted with the Accra SPI Tour TiMesh late next week. Love it.

Sorry - didn't catch this question earlier.... I play DG AMT in my irons and have been a DG wedge shaft player for years -- found out Fourteen does build these with DG wedge shafts. Just need to look around to find a dealer. I found a place in Tokyo that had both the DG or NS Pro. I went with the DG and I've been very happy with them.

No love for Vokey Cold Forged wedges? Those feel way better than Vokey SM7 I bagged for a little bit.

Was actually using Vokey cold forged before I switched to the Fourteen I mentioned above. The Vokey's were nice - but I like the feel around the greens on touch shots even better with the Fourteen. When I first started using the Cold Forged Vokeys, I had several members ask where/how I got them. Few months later on one of my regular trips to Japan, I had a shopping list from everyone of what they wanted. I ended up hauling back a bunch with me --- I remember when I hit customs in US. Officer asked me where I was coming from and what was in the box. I told him golf wedges from Japan and he replied - "Oh, Japan forgings. They're the bomb. Welcome back, enjoy them!" Clearly a fan. Often wondered if he reads this forum.

I received this yesterday. Great gift from a good friend.

Looks great. What shaft you going to put in it? Let us know how it performs.
