Recently purchased a Scotty Cameron Kombi S. I didnt realize the Kombi S came in two different weights 345 and 355. I purchased the 345g one and was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy the plate that weighs 10g more? I know I could send it into SC but I don't feel like waiting 20+ days.

I've been playing around with this idea for a while now...

Is there anything dense enough to pack in the weights to make a big enough difference other than tungsten powder? ie Lead Tape?

I've bought 15 and 20g weights from these guys for Newport/Futura/Select etx and the weights were accurate and they look ok.

I got the unpainted ones, all silver

I’m thinking of getting a set of these to use on my Newport 2.5 detour, which has been customized by removing the detour portion of the putter, basically the plate, and replacing it with another metal of choice.

What I’d like to know is how deep do they go in when inserted? I have an idea to drill out my own spot to give my putter an innovative weight management system. As you can see in the photo I have here, if I did the modification at the bottom, the clubs factory engraving would be butchered, which some people wouldn’t care, but I am someone who would. My idea is to drill DEAD center on the top alignment area. I believe if right then it can also be used as an additional alignment tool and refinished with a marker on the weight to help with that as well. Trouble I think I may run into is that portion of the putter being too thin to drill the slot deep enough without possibly going through a the other end. Can anyone possibly help me get a definitive answer, the deminsions to the weights are available but can’t find any for that clubs portion.

In the close up I have highlighted(In blue)where I’m wanting to drill at. Also before I’m asked, I only want todo one weight due to the metal I have chosen for replacing the old insert, its weight is more than most metals and will only need some added tweaking for my preference. Thanks for the help.
