There are two exemptions, but not seeing Tiger skip that many other players to get to Pat.

Since there are no 2nd round tee times out, I'm guessing they re-pair after the first round. Which is great, I wished it was feasible to do that for regular events too, it feels like weekend golf on Friday when the leaders tee it up late afternoon.

I'm oddly excited for this event, I don't know why. Maybe because we haven't seen the top dogs since France.

PP talked a lot of smack about TW prior to his comeback. I was surprised to see him as a commentator at "The Match".

I agree. It's a strong field for its size for sure but Tiger can go from 13th to 6th with a win? I dunno. Would like to see it bigger as well.

The thread died a bit. Two birds in a row after a rough start from the Tiger.

 

The tracker says Tiger has hit every fairway, hit a bad tee shot on the par 3 2nd and 3-putted 5 on the two bogies.
