How many balls do you carry?

The most you've used is 3.....is that per hole! I call BS.... do you only play on courses with no water, no trees, extra wide fairways, no cliffs, no hills... come on man you're a 14 cap and par golfers can lose more than that on a tough track on any windy day lol!

I always start with two fresh sleeves plus whatever left overs are in the bag and as a 15 cap I can assure you that is minimum some days. Not all days but its like bringing tools on a road trip, bring em or your sure to need em. Florida is not England though I will admit. If you miss a fairway or green here your are reaching in the bag.

12-15 probably , but not because i'm worried about losing them....i just like using different balls. I usually have 3-4 different types of ball with a few of each type

 

Typically if i start with like 3 bogeys with a ProV1, i'll sub to a TP5 or whatever

For a regular round I’ll have one sleeve and a couple of playable condition balls from previous rounds. For tournaments I carry two sleeves of different numbered balls in case I have to hit a provisional.

I like having a minimum of 12 with me before I start a round but I usually have more than that (18-20). It’s a product of buying a whole box of new balls and throwing the whole lot in there whenever but I feel like I’m running a little low.

About a dozen. It's not like I take inventory before/after each round. Just like to feel a couple handfuls in the ball pocket. Found balls go into another pocket if they're unworthy or into the proper ball pocket if they're decent. Have a friend whose game is keep it in play and use his exceptional short game to score. Don't think he's bought a golf ball in 10 years. ProV1 do not keep their whiteness very long. He usually plays with a grayish ProV1.

 

Golf is such a mental game. I was hitting the ball around the course one day and lost a lot of balls in the first 12 holes. Was down to my last ball with 6 holes to go and shot 1 under for the final 6.

Normally 2 dozen golf balls . I keep 6 dozen in my locker and 4 dozen in the trunk of my car . I buy my balls in bulk and will not buy from pro shops .

Many more than I should since I drive my own cart every round and it is loaded with "founders" in the dash and, usually, a plastic grocery sack full of additional "founders" in the back. I lose a ball every three or four rounds which means I am usually armed far to heavily when it comes to balls. However, thanks to the general prosperity of fellow club members, most of the "founders" are Pro V's which makes my stash rich.

5-10 used in a certain pocket.

I start the round w a good previously used ball in case I need breakfast.

Will switch to new if it's a good day.

Water or woodsy holes, will switch to a crap ball if it's a struggle day.

Will start the day w new if I'm feeling ballsy.

Same here on ball count. Most times I ride with someone to the course so leaving isn’t an option most of the time.

My cart buddy in the league I am in can lose 12-14 balls over the span of nine holes. His record is seven on one hole and 18 for nine holes. He does find quite a few while looking for his though. Thankfully he will only look for 20-30 seconds before giving up. I usually bring an extra dozen used ball just in case he runs out. I bring two sleeves of new balls for myself.

Usually 12 to 18 zi supppose wirh 6-8 of them new and the others used. I dont lose many during a round, I lose them screwing around with different shot types.

I usually use 1-3 but carry 9 - 12 total. I think i just feel better having a dozen but if i only carried 3 balls I probably would go crazy worrying lol.
