Thank you...... I was on Chat with a Dick's associate and he explained the reason the Z Star & XV don;t work is because they are already discounted by 25% . That's BS because Srixon reduced the retail to $ 29.99.

At $11/doz, I figured I’d give them a shot. They feel soft and feel/perform very good around the green. Very soft off the putter.

 

But they are short off the driver and long irons. I like a higher compression ball. These seemed to spin more off the driver too. Yes, they are a deal at this price. I just don’t mind spending a bit more for a ball that works better for me. I play both the Z-Star XV & ProV1X.

 

In the end, I donated 23 new balls to my playing partner. And a used one goes in the shag bag.

Weird, the Qstar work with the deal but not zstar. I’ve been trying to get the zstar with any of their sales and all of them say they are excluded.

In a couple of weeks Target will start liquidating the 2018 golf inventory. What's interesting is that it goes across the country, spans about six weeks, and two stores close to one another will do them at different times. Typically, all balls will get clearance priced except premium models like ProVs.

I have the TF Gamers a shot when they were 2 for $22. They feel good, but for some reason are just short in distance. Not by just a couple yards, but a noticeable distance. Driver was over 10 yards shorter and more. I played one and gave the rest away shortly after.
