High End Irons - PXG or Miura?

Which one would you choose if you are going to spend $2k on irons?

 

If I do, it will be Miura CB-57. Traditionalist.

I'm picking Miura in this scenario. I have a set of high end Japanese clubs so I'm biased in that direction. More of a traditionalist than PXG.

Obviously PXG for me. I've hit Muiras but for me the PXG's were more on the forgiving side and I love the looks of them.

Miura for me, beautiful irons, amazing feel. I have yet to see a better looking iron from the topline. I hit PXG’s in a demo both gen 1 and gen 2 but the MC-501’s stole my heart. Been playing them for a couple months and couldn’t be happier. They just ooze quality and craftsmanship.

Thanks, I am just wondering if you bought your Miuras directly from Miura or through another source.

Prolly Miura.....has more of wow factor

 

Performance doesnt matter cuz all the irons out perform just fine so it has to aesthetics and coolness I would guess

 

Have PXG on way but whateves they just clubs, I dont expect much different than what I have....

 

You can get either for way less than 2k tho.....gen 1 are 1k and older Miuras arent too bad either

Just FYI there’s a set of Miura small blades 1-Pw on the BST ( yes one iron and two iron ) brand new for $1800. So blow that budget apart !

Personally I think Miura’s are beautiful looking irons and PXGs are ugly. That doesn’t say anything about performance as I haven’t hit either of them. The look of the PXG is enough that I wouldn’t even consider buying them though.

hmmm, that's really a tough question... both fan bases are equally obnoxious but in different ways. kind of like in wrestling where pxg is the heel and miura is the babyface.

 

i've always liked the heel so im going pxg!
