Ping iblade hosel size and ferrule info

Hey folks. Want to change out shafts on my iblades but not finding any help as to what size tip these will take and more importantly where I can get the proper ferrules for these ping irons. I thought I would try here first before calling ping as I am not sure they provide proper ferrules or infor where to get them. Any help would be appreciated. Thks.

 

Ok at least found out thru eBay that these take taper shafts. That was the easy part. :wave:

 

Anybody know where I can get the ferrules would be thankful....otherwise just going to sell and pick up srixons.

You can order Ping Ferrules on Ebay through Grail Golf. I have in the past and they are perfect matches.

If you have the ability to turn down ferrules the Glider ferrules on GolfWorks website are great and the collar is the right size. The i20/i25 ferrules online will not work as well. As far as tip diameter, they are .355 but you need a collared ferrule to help center the shaft correctly.

Thanks guys. Actually went ahead and bought the Srixon 785's after pitting against the iblades. Needed to get back to stiff shafts as regs. (xp) were going a mile high. Do wish Ping made it a little easier to switch out shafts though.

doubling back on this topic as I too would like to change out my Iblade shafts. Is a collared ferrule definitely needed? i was hoping to go old school ping and NOT use ferrules... I assume it would be more of seeing how the shaft i grab actually fits b4 deciding BUT we are on a forum so I'll ask... 🙂
