Add #10 to that list. Last 3 are mind boggling stats. Heck, all 10 of them are incredible too.

Tiger 4 times defending majors

He has retained the trophy twice at the US PGA (1999 and 2000; 2006 and '07); once at the British Open (2005 and '06) and once at the US Masters (2001 and '02).

Only two other men have won back-to-back at more than one Major -- Jones at The British Open (1926 and '27) and US Open (see above) and Walter Hagen at the US PGA (1924, '25, '26 and '27) and the British Open (1928 and '29).

That and 4 modern majors in a row.

Or how bout TW winning 6 majors in 9 starts. Thats gaudy ; )

I don't know about #7. There are a lot of guys who have a chance at breaking it.

Sergio has been in the top 100 for ~1000 weeks. Adam Scott is not that far behind.

Rory was in the top 100 as a teenager. Even Rickie is closing in on 500 weeks, and he just turns 30 next week.

I think Phil's consecutive weeks in the top 50 is much more unlikely to be broken.

Yes, his top 50 is more impressive. All but 14 of Phil's weeks spent in the top 100 have also been spent in the top 50. That's 25 years in the top 50.

Phil and Sergio are the only two players on the "1000 weeks list" to have never fallen out of the top 100 after getting into it.

Sergio is 38 and would need to be in the top 100 for about six more years to catch Phil. Possible.

Someone winning 12 straight tournaments in the modern era is basically impossible. That's the one that is above the rest, even if some of the others are almost equally impossible

Sam Byrd, played in a World Series and the Masters.

Walter Hagen, number of Scotches drank before an 18 hole playoff.

Walter: Tell me Bobby, why do you play this game?
Bobby: I play because I love it.
Walter: Well I play for the money. I have to win. That is why every time we face each other I will always beat you.

Tiger!

won a pro tournament, the US Open no less by 15 shots

won the career Grand Slam in just 93 starts

11 PGA Tour POYs

10 money titles (he might own the career money title adjusted for inflation for quite a while too)

9 Vardon Trophys

has won all four majors by at least 5 strokes

more likely, someone winning 18 World Golf Championships again, or the series changes into something else? and he won one of them every year for 11 straight years

winning 7 consecutive PGA Tour starts in a row, the most by anyone not competing in a team format

Brooks has a chance to match this, but Tiger is the only man to win multiple pro majors in back to back years

largest boulder moved by a crowd in a PGA Tour event

won a PGA Tour match play round of 18 holes in just 10 (9&8 over Stephen Ames)

The Amateur records especially look unbreakable, given the massive monetary shift in golf now. No one with the chance to pull it off will keep their amateur status and put off the chance of that much money.

Tiger's majors record when he's done playing.

This, #1 on the list will be broken by Tiger in the next 5-10 years

Zero majors in the last 10 years but he will win minimum of 5 in his 40s/early 50s - logically I'd say no chance but if he does then he is without doubt the GOAT.
