... Best setup I have ever played. Been a journey the last 6 years. I have a Rogue Fairway 4 Wood too that is on it's way back from Continental. It will succeed the Sub Zero 16.5°. And then. ...... I may be finished!!!

This is my Rogue 17° Fairway that is on it's way back from Justin and the boys at Continental.

 

I slipped and put a nasty out on the toe. The boys cleaned it up, and in doing so needed to spray the 'speed bumps' black. I think it looks better this way than stock Callaway. Considering sending my Epic Forged down to NC for the same.

Well. The only version of the Regular Epic that I ever hit was the Japan Epic Star. Which essentially was the Regular Epic with a glued hosel. In comparison to the Epic Forged, the Epic Star:

 

Launched a little lower,

Carry was about the same,

Roll was a little longer making total distance just a fraction longer,

Feel was horrid,

And sound was equally as bad.

 

I owned both, the Forged and Star, at the same time, the Star didn't have much chance to beat out the Forged.

Yes, 2 Hand Grinds. Both 'Baby Blade' Grinds and Shaping. The 58.10 has a mild C Grind.

 

Heavy on the baby oil early on and they've taken on an Oil Can type finish.

 

I have two sets.

Yup!

 

I gamed the 26° 5H Apex Hybrid.

 

Loved it.

 

Got a 30° X-Forged UT.

 

Loved it.

 

Naturally I had to try the 27° X-Forged UT to see if I could cut down on Hybrids.

 

Got a 27° X-Forged UT.

 

Loved it!

 

Now the 26° 5H Apex Hybrid is in my spare staff bag of doom!

The finish is pretty awesome right now. I have raw vokeys and I'm kinda regretting that I took off the finish almost immediately (Coke Overnight, CLR for an hour).

I live in perfect climate (North East) to have full control over raw finish. I lived in Mid Atlantic and South East, and spent time in Mid West and North West, rusty conditions. Salt, Humidity, Rain, etc. accelerate rusting.

 

The third set that I mentioned I want to get, I want to have hand torched for that chameleon look.

Did you have a four wedge setup at some point, because your Miura wedges are numbered "2" and "3", but I don't see the "1".

I was always a great long iron player. I kinda got away from long irons when I discovered the Apex Hybrids. In doing so, I lost a couple, unique/situational, shots from my repetoir. I didn't make the change back to the UT until I knew I had something that was equal to or better.
