The G410 will be $499. With the G400 Max at $399 it will be hard to sell the New driver unless it is hands down better than the Max. IMO that is going to be a hard thing to do.

I was told today that this new driver is going to be $599.

Does anyone know if the 410 driver will be as forgiving or close thereto to the 400Max? Or is it just too early. Don’t see how they could improve on the 400Max, hope I am wrong.

Seems unlikely. A 50% increase for the next version ? That would be a lot for even Ping fans to swallow. Even $499 would be a considerable bump.

G410 is retailing for $499. Tensei CK Series 60 Orange and EvenFlow Black 75 are both no cost upgrade shafts.

 

Fairways are $289 with Tensei CK Orange 70 and EvenFlow Black 85.

 

Hybrids are $249 with Tensei Pro Blue 70 and EvenFlow Black 85.

 

No word on actual release date yet.

 

Will the fwys and hybrids be adjustable too?

I like where you head is at with that, but this is Ping. Not exactly known for an enjoyable shaft upgrade experience.

G410 in Jan-Feb. Won’t have an LST until summer. Higher MOI, More adjustablitly in hosel and adjustable/sliding weights similar to the others we all know. Will have LST fairway woods which is AWESOME. Love the G/G400 3 wood heads, but at the end of the day you can’t expect a high launching/spinning head design to be something it’s not (no matter what shaft goes in)...G400 LST has been an unbelievable for me personally

Don't know where the $599 price came from but all sku numbers at the store I work at are $499 for stock shaft options.

My local Ping rep said mid February to early March. Ping seams to be not in a big hurry to get them to retail.

Go read the flash forum - there’s a very good reason why the beans aren’t spilled. Because when it isn’t necessarily positive ( driver sound) the leak can go the other way and become negative out of the gate prior to official launch and the marketing machine in action
