Possible to dismantle Arccos 360 Sensors and install into replacement Smart Grip?

I have an Arccos 360 set of sensors. However, I hate how the sensors never fit correctly and I constantly have to adjust them so they don't fall out of the grip. I've tried glue, tape, and everything I can think of but to no avail.

 

Has anyone tried to dismantle the 360 (screw into the butt end of the grip) sensors to see if they're the same size as the sensors in the Smart Grips? Ideally I would like to dismantle my 360 sensors and install them into a set of replacement Smart Grips. Obviously, this only works if the sensors are the same size.

 

Any info on the actual sensor sizes and/or how to dismantle the 360 sensors would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of tape have you tried? This stuff is ridiculously strong:

I've tried that exact brand and the sensors wobble and do not sit flush against the grip.

What type of grips are you using? I plan on getting either the Arccos or Shot Scope systems and was wondering if it worked better on certain grips

I've used regular electrical tape and haven't problems other than replacing the tape occasionally. I still use the original Arccos sensors in Golf Pride MCC+4 grips.

I use electrical tape as well, and keep a roll in my bag. Once in a while, the tape tears or comes off, and I just retape it - takes just a minute, which I do while waiting for the flight in front to tee off

Changing slightly the subject: has anyone played enough with the 360 version to see how many rounds the batteries actually last?

I have the original Arccos, I love it, but the batteries don't even come close to the 30-40 rounds that were advertised at the time. It's good that they are easily replaceable and cheap on ebay, but I wish there was some sort of alert for "low battery", the only way to discover it is to check club by club with the diagnostic function before every round

i had the arccos 360 and the batteries probably last twice as much. though ultimately it's based on how many shots it detects for each club so the putter and driver will use up more battery than the others.

 

i sold my set on ebay after getting the garmin s60 watch. but when i sold it i had used them for 25 rounds and my irons were all about 50% battery remaining and my putter and driver were in the low 40%. i'm about a 15 hdcp so prone to some extra shots for sure.
