How to increase driving distance

How can I increase my driving distance without increasing swing speed based on these numbers.

 

SS 98

Smash 1,47

Launch 12,5

Spin 2600

Carry 230

Total 255

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just by the numbers, the first thing you need to do is increase your launch angle to around 18*. At that launch your spin is about optimal.

Just by the numbers, the first thing you need to do is increase your launch angle to around 18*. At that launch your spin is about optimal.

To get 18 deg of launch I need to change my swing quite a bit. I hit up on it 1,5 deg I guess I could get a couple more degrees of launch by hitting up a bit more. Thanks

just an FYI, up to 240-245 carry should be in the realm of reasonable possibilities you actually swing it 98.

 

edit: IMO just confirming your impact pattern tendencies off the driver face could help most in increasing your launch and/or lowering your spin.

I tend to get my strikes a bit low in the face and the miss is a low heel.

When trying to hit more up the strikes get even lower.

Your smash is pretty much maxed out, you could add some yards by increase launch, honestly the only way you are going to gain any significant yards is by gaining swing speed; getting your avg over 105, would really see huge gains

In addition to getting your launch conditions sorted out it wouldn't be a bad idea to get your swing speed up. One possible thing to look at would be to make sure you aren't sliding your neck and by extension your torso forward in a attempt to push the ball down the line.

I think I might be able to get 103-105 without to much effort, it was about 6 weeks since I swung a golfclub so I was a bit stiff. Any good drills you can recommend?

low in face= lowered initial launch angles, increases in backspin.

 

miss in heel= increases in backspin, increases in fading ball flight.

take this video in. a few basic things to consider when looking at distance loss or gains we all experience with the driver.

I was similar to you. In one week of superspeed golf training I went from 145 ball speed to 150. two weeks later I am at 151 ball speed and my longest drive on skytrak went from 278 to 290. Get superspeed golf and the SSR unit. takes 30 minutes a week.

 

If not, get your launch angle up. I would recommend a higher launching shaft so you don't have to change anything.

Make your backswing faster is one

 

Another would be to start working on your fitness off the course. Focus balance training, sprinting, and being explosive

^^^ That's crazy. 87 more yards of carry distance with a swing that was actually 3 MPH slower.

Tilting further back tends to do that.
