I've just ordered 9 dzn balls and am really looking forward to gaming these balls.

I agree, the balls look intriguing. The rest of there stuff looks good too.

But, 9 dozen with hardly any reviews and no trial. Either you love them or hate them but with that many you're going to be married to them for a few years.

I agree, but I bought them with two friends. All of us have different needs/ wishes and all 3 of us bought 3 dzn.

1 Friend has higher swingspeed and wants 4 piece yellow balls (Pure Soft X)

1 Wants an affordable new 2 piece ball to replace lakeballs (PG Edition)

I want a 3 piece, soft feel ball for slower swingspeed player. (Pure Soft)

An investment worth the risk and I like the way the company communicates.

They said to ad 2 sleeves of their other models(Pure Pro & Pure Pro X) to try out. Can't imagine not one of these 5 models suits my game.

Post some in hand photos when you get them so we can see the real product rather than photos. Curious to see what those yellow pure soft x look like in comparison to other yellow balls!

This is a Titleist DT Trusoft vs Pearl Pure Soft X.

The Titleist is more green(ish) yellow compared to the Pearl Pure Soft X.

I do like the the packing of the Puresoft and the Puresoft X, the 2 piece model are packed in nets. But hey, for less than 10 euro per dzn...

Not sure I'm intrigued enough since their prices are comparable (slightly more) than Vice or Snell. I guess I don't see why companies are coming out with balls that don't seem to be truly different than anything else out there. Shoutout to Cut for trying to "cut" costs on packaging to offer a product at a dirt cheap price. That's different.

TaylorMade M3 w/HZRDUS Yellow stiff
TaylorMade M4 Tour 3 wood w/HZRDUS Red stiff
TaylorMade M3 2 hybrid (set to 19*) w/HZRDUS Black stiff
Srixon U65 4i Miyazaki Stiff
Srixon 765 5-PW Modus 120 Stiff
Cleveland RTX 3.0 50*, 54*, and 58* KBS 61
TaylorMade Spider Black

I get your point, but to be honest: Vice and Pearl are the only ones in this price range for the Netherlands.I loved to look of Cut to but incl shipping and tax the Grey would cost me 169 usd for 6 dzn.

If I lived in Europe then that would make total sense to me. I actually love that Vice is made in Germany. Kind of feels like playing the Benz or BMW of golf balls. LOL!

FYI Vice is much cheaper in the USA. 60 Vice Pro Plus balls in the Netherlands 149,90 euro(171,11 USD) vs 124,75 USD in the USA

Pearl is also made in Germany, so I guess that could be playing like a Porsche;)

Because we don't have GC Quad, we have to work with feel and cold weather like today. (rain, wind and 10 degrees c)

Our first shots, we compared the balls with the Taylormade TP, Titleist DT truesoft and the Titleist Velocity.

We both agreed that we loved the feel of the Pearl balls so much, we didn't need to compare them at all!

We did 5 different tests:

Driver: Feel & distance

Long iron: Feel & distance

Short Iron: Feel & spin

Chip/ Pitch: Feel & spin

Putt: Feel & roll

For me:

PG

Driver:Feel not bad high "ping", distance about right.

Long irons: Feel again a bit high ping, distance is fine.

Short irons: Feel again a pit rough, spin better than i expected. for the short irons this ball was longer.

Chip/ Pitch: Feel is just losing it here, spin aswel. But compared to other, 2 piece balls like velocity the same.

Putt: This is where, to me, the ball was not the best for me. Had a bit of trouble getting the right feel with a put. I think it is because I used the Pure Soft first.

Pure Soft

Driver: Feels nice, distance about right.

Long Irons: Feels nice, distance good.

Short Irons: Good feel, spin is good, just what i love to feel from 100m

Chip/ Pitch: Very nice feel, spin is good. Grabbed quite fast. (2 bounce max)

Putt: Oh my, that is just lovely! That's the feel i love!

Pure Soft X

Driver: Feels great!! Love the ball flight aswel, distance is way to short

Long Irons: Feels great, distance way to short

Short Irons: This is better than I ever had. Just lovely. The feel, flight, spin. Just, great!

Chip/ Pitch: Same as short irons, just great!

Putt: No, not my putting ball. Sound and feel between PS and PG, made it harder to get the right distance with putts.

In conclusion: We were surprised with the balls. If the PSX wouldn't cost me so much distance, it would be my gaming ball. For me, the best choice is the PS. Best of both worlds! Probably in cold weather, the PG would also do fine.

Are Vice balls manufactured in Germany? On the Vice website, it states that the balls are designed and engineered in Germany. My take on that statement is that they are not manufactured there--if they were, I think the company would state they are designed, engineered, and manufactured in Germany. So you might be playing a Benz or BMW that was made in Asia ;-)

Some models Teslas are made in my home town Tilburg (the Netherlands, Europe) but you still call them American cars. ;)

All jokes aside, To me it doesn't matter where they are made, it's the quality that counts,
