Which clubs will you never sell? Why?

Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport 2. Was given to me by my uncle. Everything else has a price. Chances are in 2 years my bag will look 100% different then it does right now except for that putter. I don’t get attached to clubs. I get attached to what works. I treat my clubs very well but they don’t hold any sentimental value to me. Everything in my current bag except a couple shafts and that Newport 2 will be sold or given away in the next 2 years.

I think the Studio Stainless Newport 2 is one of the best ever.

My longtime gamer has been a Pro Platinum Newport Mid Slant. First "big purchase" I made after started working. It's been in the bag almost 19 years and is still in great shape. I'll either use it forever, or pass it down to my son who has yet to take up the game.

917D2 - Diamana D+ 70

917F2 - Diamana D+ 80

818H1 - Tensei CK Blue 80

Some say it’s the last truly great retail putter Scotty made.

My J15CBs paired with one of the first sets of Modus 3 125 ever released.

These irons have changed my game like no other. Secondly, year after year after year they continue to $hit on every OEMs attempt at a better Player's CB. The only irons in the last decade that I can put in the same legendary status would be the 745s, SLB, MP-53, 588 CB, and the 2013 X-Forged. These can come close to their overall performance (Distance, Workability, Feel, aesthetics and forgiveness).

Cult worthy.

And the Modus 3 125 is THE best feeling smoothest kicking shaft I've ever used.

The combination of the incredibly soft feel of the J15CB head and those shafts are what you call Ho-Ending.

I've found the unicorn... And they will be with me until I can't swing a golf club anymore and then I will give them to my son.

AB TP 3HL / 757
XTD 19*/ Fubuki Ax
DWS 24*/ VS Proto

The only club I’ve held onto is an Acushnet Bullseye putter, and that’s only because I’ve had it for about 50 years and I think my Dad bought it for me. I haven’t used it in years, and wouldn’t care to game it. I putt with it on carpet at home for laughs occasionally, and frankly it feels awful compared to a modern putter like my ER2.

I just sold a set of Wilson Staff RM Midsize irons 2-SW in mint condition I’d owned since 1996. Didn’t get much for them, but I wasn’t going to use them again...

I've never met a club that couldn't be sold in a heartbeat.

I agree with lawsonman. I have certainly sold/swapped some putters I shouldn’t have. But always looking to get better so my gear is never the same very long.

Speaking of, anyone looking for trades.... ?

- Something that continues to go long off the tee in the fairway
- Something that is a fairway finder when needed and long
- Something that high, consistent and helps with par 5’s
-  Something to help with long par3’s and short par 4’s

-  Something metal, lots of them and go the gaps I need
- Something metal, 2x of them and helps me 120y and in
- Putters - limited rotation because I cannot afford misses

Golf is what you make of it.  Play grateful and accepting. We are all lucky to have it.

Rather than expecting lets all try and appreciate instead.
Treat people the way you want to be treated

Adams 18* boxer hybrid with NV 85. Had my first and only hole in one with it.

Ping G25 irons with C Tapers. I've played these since they came out. Tried to replace them plenty of times, will try to replace them again this year, but they're the failsafes.

TBD - G430 Max 15* - 818 H2 19*- Sub 70 Pro 23* - i525 6-U - SM9 54* / 58* / 62*  - F22

I do part with clubs that are in great condition for nothing and I consider it golf's paying forward. I have the Acushnet Bullseye too and I cleaned it up with Brasso and it got so clean and shiny.

I'll always hold on to my Bullseye too. Like you, my dad bought it for me. It was a 16th birthday present and cost $10 right out of the pro shop of the CC he belonged to. I'm 68 now so I've had it a long time.

BTW, I've had only two other putters since then because one of them was stolen along with my entire bag six years ago. It was a TP VII, an early TaylorMade. I've got a Ping Anser now.

I will never get ride of my 3 Bettinardi 2.0 iNovai putters.

1. They are 1 of the hardest putters to find.

2. There are only 29/less made.

3. I can only putt well with a mallet.

4. I love the look and feel of #7 style putters.

5. They are AWESOME!!!!!!!

6. Oh yea.....they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7. Everything else I own except for my Masters stuff is for sale.
