I just signed up last night and thought they might have a little extra coverage. No luck.

Such a good field this year. The tournament has really gotten its mojo back.

I was surprised to see Champ in the field. I had always thought it was for the winners from the prior season, not the prior calendar year. Guess I was wrong.

I believe he won an event, didn't he? Sanderson Farms, I think.

It’s really only when I read stuff like this that I wish I had stupid “f@ck you” money laying around for just such adventures.

 

I would play in a lot of freaking Pro Ams if a giant pile of money dropped into my lap.

 

Sadly that hasn’t happened yet. ; (

It's always been this way. The Tournament of Champions used to be played at LaCosta three weeks after The Masters. If you won the week before (at say New Orleans) you got added to the field.

These Top Tracer numbers, at least the peak height, are way off. I’ve always thought they were, and now I know for sure. DJ just hit a low bullet that said 130ft peak height. Then Rory hit a standard looking drive and it said 60ft peak height.
