I did - I've got the app on my iPhone, but it doesn't seem available/updated on my AppleTV just yet. Looking forward to giving it a whirl tonight for the first round of the TOC.

Me too. Seems like they reaally wanted an early release. The app is missing so many basic features its laughable. Seen the calendar..? And streaming limitations. And so on..

 

Well, hope there's an update before the real tournaments start.

I see on the main site you cannot sign up if you are in U.S. (yet); and what is Adam Scott doing on the front page?!?! Oh that's right, this is an international thing. I don't think it will be available in the US for years. It is targeted to (according to press release) "Australia, Canada, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia and Spain in 2019. Poland and South Korea will follow in 2020, and Belgium, China, Germany and South Africa in 2021. In 2022, GOLFTV will launch in Britain, Denmark, Finland, India, Norway and Sweden. France will launch in 2024."

Despite what they advertise the Canadian offering is limited. Featured groups and late weekend PGA, no Euro.

Finally got a response from them. Said they are still in beta working out the kinks. They said they would be showing the full round for all 4 rounds and would be posting the rounds for on demand viewing as soon as they are completed play.

 

This is for Canada, not sure about other countries.

Correct. The US Version of Golf.tv is on NBC Sports Gold for US.

Maybe you could do it through a browser? But I haven't found a way to stream from my ipad. "Patiently" waiting on the Apple TV app.

 

The platform is slowly getting better. I'm still a little POed about lack of transparency into what exactly I would be paying for (I still don't think this is clear) and the lack of Euro tour coverage in Canada. But I can access blacked out content with a VPN on my ipad.

 

Edit: What I really enjoy is the lack of commercials. For more of the final round yesterday, any time there was a commercial or shots of the leaders walking or picking their noses or whatever, they'd cut away to featured holes. The CBS final round coverage still leaves something to be desired, but at least it's not crammed with ads.

I tried all my credit cards (master, visa, amex) and they don't work... it always says:

 

[GatewayTransactionError] Transaction declined.905 - Payment details are not supported

 

can it be, that golf.tv doesn't work in my country (switzerland) and it can see that the cards belong to a swiss person?

I'm in Canada as well I can watch what I got before on pga tour live, but I can't seem to get it onto my apple tv, nor can I get it on my android device/phone to Chromecast it. Annoying that I can't see it on the tv.
