When do the limited release items become available? Are there social media posts like Bettinardis Hive? Email warnings?

They come out in Tuesday’s st 11:30 am (not always right at that time but I’ve never seen them earlier). They are usually based around pga or web.com events, holidays and majors. The first one is next week for the Hawaii tournament. They normally post a teaser on social media the day before

Thx for the insight but does the average, diligent person that logs in "on or about 11:30" usually have success or failure in your experience?

From what I’ve gathered from posts on here, you need to follow Scotty on twitter and the second you see it go online to buy. And that doesn’t guarantee you’ll get anything. Numerous stories/posts of people having items in their cart and when they go to checkout it ends up being sold out.

This makes sense as to why they have great "membership gifts". It ensures many folks may "buy-in" simply for the gift alone and hopes to have a shot throughout the year of grabbing something on a release.

Was a member last year, but dont like the package this year. Just have no need for a backpack. Im in it mainly for the access as I like to collect the holiday and major head covers but I wonder if I am not just better of keeping the $125 (shipping gets you) and using that money to offset the difference on the 3 or 4 items I might want to buy from a flipper on Ebay this year.

Most have success. Granted some releases will sell out a lot quicker than others like the majors, stand bags, and some designs and most trinkets like coins. If loggin in from a pc it’s best to download the auto refresh plugin so that you don’t have to constantly hit f5 but about 1128 it’s best to get the constant manual refresh going. Another tip is don’t wait for the email or social media post saying the release is up. Those tend to come out several minutes after the release is up and usually too late to grab stuff.

Guys, from a value perspective you will probably make out same or even better if you wait on eBay and find a deal once inventory hits the auction site without joining the Club.

If you enjoy the anticipation and thrill of the hunt of getting an order in before the item sells out then membership is right for you. Membership will also give you those rare opportunities at a golf bag but your chances are very slim on obtaining one.

The bags especially stand bags are the quickest items sold and the secondary market is high, it’s come down a bit the last year but is the one item that is tough to stomach the eBay pricing. I’ve tried for bags 3 times and got two.

Are these simply Titleist bages with Scotty embroidery or are they sourced differently?

Yeah the stand bag is the item with the most mark up. The staff bags, have lost their demand and you could score one on eBay for less than it would cost at the Studio Store with some patience.

They’ve fixed that with a checkout timer. There was one release this year that had a glitch and no timer. Now once you put it in your cart it’s yours til you pay or the timer runs out. Their issues with site crashing seemed to be fixed as well

Nice looking backpack and headcover but honestly I wouldn't spend $60 on the headcover or $60 on the backpack, so I'm going to pass. As far as membership, the only real value anymore is the stand bags. Buy for $350-400, sell for $800-900. Nothing else anymore really worth bothering with unless your keeping it. Amazes me seeing people flipping headcovers for $15 profit after shipping/taxes/ebay fees/whatever.

If you buy the ball markers at the Gallery Store. You can make 25-50% profit on the Bay still.

I joined for the first time this year. I’m new to Scotty Cameron putters and liked the backpack. Any idea on when the packages will ship? Not in a rush for the backpack but curious on historically how long it has taken to receive the welcome package?

This morning, the website said “2 weeks”. But now it seems to say “join today to reserve your welcome kit”

It can take awhile to get a kit after the initial release, sometimes months as they calculate demand and reorder.

As for the special cover releases, you had better like them as it’s not like the old days when you could always flip them for a profit. after tax, shipping and fees kill any hope of break even let alone a profit.

Sounds like a good side hustle for you and anyone else in that neck of the woods. I've heard there's a group of regulars (flippers) that line up for store opening in the mornings, is that accurate from your experience?

They have already started shipping, based on initial orders the two weeks that was shown on the site the other day is probably now onto the moral 4+ weeks and if it’s like last year where there were a lot it will be closer to 6

I logged into my FedEx account and saw a label had been created from Saddle Creek Logistics. Shows a 1/10/19 delivery date!

I keep checking but I haven't seen anything yet. I placed my order around 7pm east coast on Wednesday. It definitely said "within 2 weeks" when I placed it. I always expect to wait, so I'm not too worried about it. I just hope they don't have issues like last year again!

I’ve only been to the Gallery Store twice and both times I was visiting clients in the area. The 2 times I was there I did see the same person waiting in line. So it must be true.

I ordered mine about 10 mins after they went up. Nothing in my fedex account yet. Two of my buddies bought right before me and have a label showing in their FedEx account
