Fedex delivery scheduled for tomorrow in AZ. Ordered my kit on January 2nd.

Looking in past emails, I never even got a shipment notification email from last year's Club Cameron welcome kit.

Same thing happened last year. No idea on the methods behind their shipping madness. I ordered at 12:02 EST on 1/2. Still hasn't shipped. I'm not going to sweat it. I expect it will go out in the next few days. But I understand people's frustrations.

I'd be interested to hear reviews and see photos of the backpack. If it's as fully featured as the vessel 2.0 that sounds like a great deal.

I ordered at the same time. I took the order number and inputed into 'track by reference's on the fed ex site. I knew it was shipping before Scotty let me know.

Yeah, I tried that this morning and got no results. Tried entering multiple days for the "ship date" too. Got nothing every which way. I'm assuming you just use the Order # that I have crossed out for the reference number on FedEx's website?

Yup. Exactly. That must mean it hasn't been picked up. I kept doing mine for a couple of days, and it eventually showed up on the Fedex site. Like I said, my Scotty notification came 2 days later.

this is being speculated but won't know for certain until tomorrow or a sneak peak. SC M&G teased it during Christmas. there's also speculation of a black/blue matching stand bag.

So far no sneak peek yet for tomorrow which has happened before. We see stuff from Japan all the time before releases here and they aren’t the same. I’m not interested in the Hawaii headcover so I’m passing either way but it would be cool to see this one release here, but I just don’t see them releasing the same cover here and there

I got my kit yesterday, I think the backpack is awesome. Very good quality. It does not have all of the organizational pockets that the actual Vessel pack does. It is very simplified and a bit small. But it will be perfect for travel etc. Very clean looking, High quality, feels nice! Definitely worth the money! Great pick-up!

Yeah there are zero small organizational dividers inside any of the compartments. They are all large open spaces for the most part. The back compartment only opens at the top and is fully lined with very high quality, soft, microfiber that covers the entire inside of that compartment. Its really nice and that is just to slide a laptop or tablet in. Then the main compartment in the middle, has a large sleeve on the back, and one medium sized zipper compartment on the front, and then the open space in the middle. Other than those 2 compartments, you just get the phone pocket on the side, The accessory zipper on the front, and the bottom compartment. The video on Vessel's website shows you laying down a water bottle like a hydro flask across the bottom to give you an idea of what that pocket is like. It zippers all the way around and is an open space at the bottom.

Cool. Appreciate the indeption description. It just need to fit a laptop, tablet, charger, mouse, and headphones. That is about all I carry for work so sounds like it should work great for that. The bottom pocket sounds like it might even be a great place to stash a light packable jacket.

This is the backpack. Except for in the picture where you see the inside compartments there is no sunglass compartment and none of the black mesh that you see holding a wallet and a charge cable. Those are the organizational components that were left out. But everything else is the same (you see the sleeve and the zipper inside). Of course except for the Scotty design.The Scotty dog print all in the inside is awesome!!

It absolutely will fit those things, and a rolled up jacket is a great idea. I just posted a link to the vessel site. the video shows a guy packing the back pack and that is exactly what it is like! Enjoy!

Did anyone have to sign for the delivery or did fedex just leave it on the porch?

 

 

I just got a "signature required" text from fedex about a scheduled delivery today coming from San Diego. I'm assuming that the CC Kit. It's very unlikely that someone will be here all day.

If you call Fedex with your tracking number you can authorize them to leave it without a signature.

have it sent to a local walgreens. all SC orders need a signature or release form from FedEx. So i've opted to get them sent to my local walgreens down the street from home. depending on the driver - they may or may not leave the package even with a signed form. I've had it done multiple times. So now i just get it sent to walgreens.

EDIT: I was able to print a "release authorization" form that I can sign and tape to the door. Gives the FedEx guy authority to just leave the package on the porch.

better than a porch pirate come by. I haven't had any issues doing so all of last year. other than my normal USPS mail man - the UPS/FedEx delivery guy is also a stranger so what's your point?
