I honestly don't think they look that bad. I'll reserve judgment until I roll them. These are prototypes, he's allowed to try things that some of the guys on tour might use and put in play. He does consult with tour pros on occasion. Hence, Jimmy Walker ditching the T Lamb blade and putting one of these Scotty's in play.

Hopefully it rolls really well, because on looks alone.....not a great looking design IMHO (as well as a lot of others).

 

Maybe if it didn't have lime green lines on the head it'd look better? But unfortunately almost all the companies are doing these crazy, awful colors so the weekend golfers can know what each club is on tv by seeing these fugly, over the top color choices.

Hmm I'm unsure on the all black ones, however......

 

I really like the look of the ones with the silver 'wings'. Yes they're pretty similar to the Spyders but there are only so many shapes you can putt a ball with. Will be interested in these when released - anyone know if it's likely to be March or September?

You guys realize the goal of a putter is to put the ball in the hole, right? But 90% of GolfWRX has made a decision on these without hitting a ball with them.

 

I forgot, WRXers are so good, they can't putt with something that isn't beautiful.

The squareback with the short neck and big single cherry on the front is beautiful though... not crazy about the mallets, without the big sightline though I think they probably look nice and simple at address.
