Yes! putters did this years ago and claimed the yellow/black contrast would improve aiming. Then they went out of business.

Ok I’ll play devils advocate here. No one should be surprised that this is the direction Cameron is heading. The entire putter industry has been moving more and more towards higher MOI mallets.

Agreed, you can’t deny the performance. He has no choice but to continue down this path. You will see these in play I garantee it. I embraced these designs a few years back and my putting has NEVER been better. BB

I was hoping for one as well. It seems Cameron is more concerned with his collector market than retail... I wonder how much market share Toulan Is going to take from him this year .

I am certainly in the "why the **** pay so much for a putter?" camp when it comes to SC. I can't see the appeal and don't understand the mystique.

 

That being said, I don't think the new mallet designs are any worse that many of the OEM offerings these days. The problem is, of course, that SC has built his business on overpriced works of "art."

 

These ain't "art" - just ugly (and we assume effective) hunks of metal glued to a stick. If they put a $99 price tag on 'em, no one would be complaining.

It does look like a Ping Ketsch to me. Why should this surprise anyone.... been copying Ping for years. See the following:
