What clubs in the last 15 years qualify as "unicorns"?

My Unicorns based off my own personal defintion....

 

mizuno Pro 300 S driver - think this may have come out in 2001 or 2002 so just outside of 15 years

Taylor Made 510 TP

Taylor Made X-300 FCI irons

Titleist 906 F2 - the one fairway wood i wont sell

Taylor Made JDM SLDR TP 430 - the one driver i wont sell

Cleveland BeNi wedges - not sure about the years on these to be honest

 

The Mizuno 300S was something you always heard of but never saw back in the day. They have it as introduced in 2001 and the MSRP was $900 but for some reason I thought it came out a little before that. Vijay won the Masters with it in 2000 but maybe it was just a prototype at the time.

 

$900 MSRP for a driver in 2001 is great.

 

I got one kicking around in my basement. Bought it for $50 a number of years ago.

Bridgestone TQ-04 precept (airmuscle) driving iron. One of the rarest there is. Performs better than any driving iron I've ever played.

I have the non jdm version 2 iron, looks the same. I found it a second hand bin with a nv 85 stiff hybrid shaft and it's definitely the best driving iron I've hit.

If the 15 year rule is relaxed, you can find a unicorn in the Ginty. The Ginty was a great club for bad lies and the gap between fairway woods and long irons.

 

Another unicorn was the first Ping 5 wood. It was a laminated wood and it consistently out hit 3 woods and drivers for players that faded the ball. It was extremely solid and easy to hit and also filled the gap between the usual fairway woods and long irons.

 

Some unicorn that!!!!

 

Can out drive my 3 wood and Driver but also an gal between my long irons WOW!!!

These are older than you requested...but here goes:

 

Titleist 970f fairway woods.

 

Basically...a PT series wood painted like a 975d.

 

PIng TiSi Tour driver...a smaller headed version I'd the TiSI that was seen played on tour a few times.

You might want to start marketing a line of golf clubs called Unicorns. That's one of the few names for clubs that hasn't been used.
