LAB Golf (Directed Force) BLADE PUTTER! PHOTOS ADDED

LAB Golf (Lie Angle Balancing), the makers of the Directed Force putter have something new in the making! I saw the new prototype blade yesterday and it is sweet! Bill Presse said they would be releasing it at the PGA show later this month. I am betting this club will be in the bag of a few PGA Tour pros this year, and perhaps in a couple Major winner’s bags.

 

The company is up and running with a fury! The blade is going to be a game changer for those who could use the benefits of lie angle balancing (all of us!) yet do not like looking down at a mallet putter. I have had the Directed Force Mallet in my bag since August of 2014. Before Directed Force I used to be a guy that would switch putters 5-6 times per year looking for some type of magic. I even switched putters between rounds in a USGA qualifier one year because I was so bad. Well, with the blade coming out, I may switch 1 more time, but I am never going away from Lie Angle Balancing.

 

Bill told me the feel and distance control with the blade are going to be amazing. This is great news as one of the only complaints (other than the looks) I heard about the Directed Force putter was the distance control. The look of the new putter is pretty awesome. I can’t share many details yet, but when I get approval I will try to upload a photo of the new blade from LAB Golf. Bill also showed me a couple other things they will be releasing, but I can't disclose any info on those yet. Very exciting year for this up and coming company!

 

Update, looks like I can mention the new generation Press grips as well. They are awesome!

Back to the blade... to be honest, it's very Seemore-ish but it's a damn sight better performing with it's lie balance. Can't wait to see this on the Revealer tool vs a Seemore vs Edel. Any idea on pricing?

Nice herby! can't wait for your comments/feedback. I'll stick with mine for the time being as I don't have the war chest funds to play with here but a mini-Reno, I'll go flip some burgers after work to pay for that one :)

That's where the lie angle balancing comes in handy. You'd be very surprised.

Hope this makes a lot of putts, because it’s sure not winning any beauty contests. I’d like to say I’d try it, but I doubt I’ll ever see one in the wild.

It looks like the logo and lettering on the bottom are photoshopped in.. I think it looks better than their other putter but still does not win any style points..

Just noticed the grip is a forward Presse Forward grip as well (unless the photo was taken crooked). Very Nice! I need to text Bill to tell him he's not stealth anymore, too much "verbiage" on the grip, not as clean and stealth as his original Presse grip.

 

 

For those unfamiliar with the lie balance, go youtube "directed force" and you wonder why you pull and push those short putts. these lie balance putters literally swing themselves and stay square to the path. Other heel shafted putters spin like a top. watch the vids with the "revealer" and see how you favourite putter will fare :)
