Driver shaft help, have numbers ..need advice

I have hovered around 99-101 mph swing speed with most driver shafts thoughout the years. I have always use butt soft stiff mid and stiff tip shafts (latest is Tensei Pro White 60 stiff) with G400 LST 10 degree opened to most fade down to 8.6? So I hit the new Callaway Epic Flash SZ 9 degree head and have it in all fade bias weight. I was using the stock Project X EvenFlow Green 55 Stiff 6.0 shaft. This shaft felt amazing in that I could feel the club load and I could flex it. I don't usually get this as I play more boardier type shafts. Anyhow, I was getting 106-108 mph with this setup. I was launching it around 11 degrees and was getting a slight draw with this setup. Unfortunately, it was spinning around 4400 rpms. I tend it hit down on it and from the inside pretty aggressively. I tried other shafts and swing speed went back to around 100 and didn't load or feel the same. They don't offer and X-flex in this shaft and I doubt tipping it would drop 2000 rpms. I'm not sure if the flash sz head is lighter or this is a low kick point shaft but loved the feel. Any suggestions? Happy Sunday!!

Check the face impact location (impact tape or foot powder spray). There are two possible reasons the spin is going that high. 1) is impact low on the face. 2) is the softer feel may be causing you to release a bit early which can add to the dynamic loft. Or a combination of both. The potential solutions are a bit different so have to figure out which one is the issue.

The impact is center or slightly toward toe. I would say it’s probably the early release due to the softer feel. This is why I have all the weight on the toe side. It feels so good though. What options would you recommend knowing this?

That's pretty cool to see a nice jump in speed like that! I would say try something else in the Evenflow family. The stock "green" evenflow in the EFSZ driver is the opposite of what you described you've played in the past (it's high launch and mid/high spin) and that profile is almost always going to spin quite a bit even if your launch is alright.

I would start with the Evenflow Blue 65 6.0, should be easy to demo since it was a stock offering in the Rogue drivers. The Blue is a mid/mid profile. From there you can try the Black, which is stated to be low/low, but from my experience was mid/low, mid/low for both launch and spin. (sidenote - I would like to try the Evenflow Black 75 as a 3 wood shaft - felt great in the driver) Some shops may have the Evenflow Black in their fitting carts since it was a no-upcharge shaft in the Rogue and is also for the EFSZ. Of course, you can also try the White, that shaft was really great for me in the Titleist TS3 head. It's going to be similar to their HZRDUS T1100, uses the same material, but has much better feel. It's a true low/low profile.

All of the Evenflow shafts have great feel though and I think that is what they are designed to do is let you feel the shaft load properly. I could easily play the White in my driver and like I said, would love to demo the Black in my 3 wood. It's a great line-up.
