Headcovers with shaft protection?

OK I know the thread title leaves a lot of room for jokes and whatnot so go ahead if you must! LOL!

Seriously though, anything out there other than Rocket Tour or older OEM head covers?

Just changed over from a 14way cart bag to a 4 way carry bag. The new arrangement allows for a lot more movement of the clubs and I'm hoping to avoid excessive wear on the graphite.

Seems like all the new OEM HC's, PING G400 in my case, leave the shaft exposed (more jokes!). I'm looking for something high quality, durable, and stylish that also offers some shaft protection.

Any recommendations?

TIA,

KTM

I am big fan of the Puma hat headcover's, they have a long sock out the bottom.

Perfect...thank you!

Rose & Fire, and Stitch. Both companies headcovers are long enough to touch the top of your dividers on the bag.

Awesome...a couple more alternatives to look into!

Thanks for all the recommendations!

Since it's now the off season try going to a couple courses and ask them what they have in their lost and found bin. Usually there is what you need and more often than not for free. This will do until you order something.

You know...I did think about that...one course close to me actaully sells them...they're in a big box next to the counter. They're asking WAY too much for them but maybe I can sweet talk them out of a few...or at least negotiate a much more reasonable price. Those older OEM driver covers are going for almost next to nothing on eBay.

Thanks for mentioning Rose and Fire...I've never heard of them before...their covers look OUTSTANDING! And really not a whole lot more expensive that the knit ones from other companies. Heck, R&F's nylon HC's are actually cheaper than knit!

The owner is an awesome dude. Bends over backwards for his customers.

Just take note of shipping times, some are made to order and some are in stock.

I definitely picked that up about him just by watching a few of their informational videos on the site!

I also noticed the estimated ship times! Seemes like every design that I clicked on was up for pre-order and shipping was 4 weeks away. Really not too bad of a deal when you consider everything is hand made right here in the USA with quality materials!

I bought some from Fire and Rose about a year ago. Not inexpensive but they are very, very well made. Mine too took about 4 weeks. Well worth wait. Mine are Black and White and still look brand new. It’s also a good way to personalize your bag and gives a real high end look. I have matching Driver and 3 wood. If remember there run specials quite often when you visit the site.

It's kind of cheap but, if you weave a towel around the clubs vey little movement if any. I did this because I have Fuji Pro shafts on one of my iron sets and went from an Ogio Silencer to a Jones Utility bag.
