can’t remember how long ago , but I remember you (Greg) mentioning that someone (high profile ) who was under contract couldn’t use their axis putter in tournament play but they carried it around for training . This wouldn’t be that player by chance ?

I’m kind of impressed by Axis 1. They’ve been out there a while now, getting verbally abused (at least on the Internet) anytime anyone sees them, but they’re sticking with it. This could potentially be huge for them!

Rose said in an interview, one of the biggest reasons to sign with Honma, was so he can play any putter he wants.

My question about axis is, how does this company stay in business. Ive only ever seen some tour players trying them out. Ive never seen them in retail stores, never seen a single one out in the wild (i teach golf, been in the industry for about 10 years), and i dont recall seeing any in wrx member witb

There are two members in my course that game the original axis1. Other than that, I've never seen one in a bag.

He must really hate TaylorMade. Rumor was that he would continue playing their woods. It’s a little shocking to see these kind of wholesale changes immediately after ascending to #1. Will be very interesting to see how this all plays out.

that is what I was thinking. I thought it was originally reported it was a 10 club deal with Honma but he was going to play the TP5 and TM woods still. I don't know if we know the ball he is playing but he didn't even keep the TM wedges in the bag. Interesting to rise up with those clubs and go full abandon.

Well Maltby did too and I guess were forced to change it. I have one of the originals but don't really like it. Looks good but lie angle funky.
