Ping G410 Level of Excitement

Saw pictures today of G410 line up. Very good looking. 2 g410 irons. One looks like i500/g700 other has a cavity. Am told do have minimal offset. Not sure if the hollow g410 is just a hybrid/utility iron or not.

 

There is two different models of the G410 irons?

 

Couldn't tell if it's two completely different models or just a utility/driving iron. But def picture of two g410s. One hollow construction and 1 cavity back

 

One is the G410 crossover(hollow body) while the other is the g410 Iron (cavity)

Same here. If that fails it’s a PXG Gen 2 XF 14* for me with the same deal (weight fade and loft turned down).

That crossover looks amazing!!! As I bag i500 irons I’ll definitely be looking to test this out ASAP!

Looks just like the G25 from the picture. Not saying it doesn't have better tech, just looks like it.

I can't contain my excitement foe the new G410. If this thing is better then the G400 max then look out. The max is so easy to hit already. Hard to improve on a club that in my opinion is 10/10 already!

I hit the 410 at a fitting today. For me, after about 10-12 balls, it wasn’t any better than the 400 LST for me.

I ended up with G400/HZRDUS Yellow 5.5 combo at 45 1/4”. Beat my Epic set up in both distance, dispersion and consistency.

Can’t wait to get it in play.

The 410 Hybrids are very nice, though. ( I’ve never hit the 400 series outdoors)

You should probably be seeing G410 demo's in the irons any day now. Suggest you check with your dealers.

Not excited by any new clubs this year.

 

LIke the 400 Max and remainder of bag - will look at iron shafts, maybe a PM 19 LW, definitely an HM Pro 4i.

Finally hit the Ping 410 and I must say very good driver, feel is better than the max and on average about 4 yards longer (not much) but longer. I think I am switching up to this driver.

Got to go for a G410 Plus fitting have to say that the best thing to come out of this release is the level of options in a fitting.

 

A non PING staff fitter can do so much more now that there is more options!

 

Too bad the G410 sounds horribly loud after owning a G400 that had a sweet muted sound.
