I do not like the face height and shape of the bottom edge on the fairways. Too shallow for me and annoys me when the flat bottom doesn't sit flat on the ground. I'd prefer something more rounded like some of the other offerings. It really is the only think that kept me from gaming them.

I think this is the biggest thing on the Ping fairways/hybrids that is a turn off for me. The face shape just makes me feel like I will slam it into the ground on every shot

Hit these, IMO they are the sleepers of the entire launch. Even the standard model is a spin killer compared to the G400's....

See I like the shape but they've spun like tops for me. Hope the 410 series is better.

That's fascinating as I'm in the exact opposite camp as I want something that sits flat for easier fairway shots. Theoretically easier that is. Maybe my thought pattern on this is wrong.

Shortcut to G410 models from Ping.com:

G410 fairway=standard model

G410 SFT=slightly larger with draw bias, lighter swing weight

G410 LST=smaller head than standard, CG placed more forward than other 2 models, higher launch with less spin

i guess like any new club if you can snare a G400 for $180 do you spend $130 more for improvements at this level

I always seem to .. sigh

LOVE the way these sit at address like the 400's. Low profile is awesome for me in fairways. I rarely hit a 3w off the tee, would rather choke down and bunt a driver

The flat lie angles will be awesome for players that miss left with fwy woods

New sleeve. 5 standard settings and 3 flatter.

Great if you are a dwarf. No so much if you are taller than average. Strange decision from a company that offers 3 irons & crossovers at 5 degrees upright.

Not attacking you- but you may be the first person I’ve heard complain that lie angles are not upright enough. Over the last decade stock lie angles in woods and drivers have gotten ridiculously upright. Most scream “modern OEM lie angles are too upright!!!” I guess Ping gave that crowd some solutions with their new sleeve.

much better hands down.. It is like night and day... Fitter told me that this was the #1 concern Ping wanted to address in the 410's and they nailed IMO....

Fantastic. I'm a Ping guy that hasn't used their drivers since the Rapture V2 because I have found that I spun them too much.

Shouldn't that be with draw bias?

I was thinking the exact same thing for the hybrids...

Have people tried these out yet? I tried the g400 and it was a great feeling club but spun way too much; traditionally I'm not a high spin player but with the g400 I somehow struggled to keep down the flight and lost a ton of distance. Wondering if anyone tried the regular vs lst and if the lst is even worth trying or if they've found the normal 410 is lower spin than the previous model.

I have not found the 410 LST to hit yet but if the launch and feel are anything like the 410 hybrid, I will buy it on the spot. I love the 3 degree flat setting on the new adapter. I play everything 3 flat to be anti left and these will complete the bag perfectly.

You won’t be finding the LST version anytime soon. Check back in 6 months...

I think the reference is to the LST fairway.
