These look better than the 919 Forged honestly

I held and hit them side by side. 919F looks better at address, and feels much better. I intended on getting the 5iron, but the 919F 5 iron was much better for me, just arrived yesterday to complete my set.

It is a nice offering for HM players that want a more compact head. These may end up as the best selling iron of the 919 line.

Would these compare to the Cally Apex CF16? I might be in the market for a new iron, as I've always loved Mizuno irons. But I also love my CF16s. Hmmmmmm....

IMO theyre a direct competitor and have a similar spot in the lines. I too play CF16's and these have my interest.

These are clearly aimed at the Apex line. Which is probably smart since they are such a complete iron for the largest assortment of players.

Based on the "same specs and lofts as the 919 Hot Metals" I assume there will not be a 3 iron. Might end up pulling a C. Champ and carry two 4 irons.

Then that image was deceiving lol. Still, I can handle looking at the forged.

Yep 919F do look better than I originally thought, just got my 5 iron yesterday, beautiful.

A side by side shot of your 919F with your 900F would be great to see especially for those that haven't had a chance to see the 919. I don't believe anyone has posted that side by side here on the forums yet.

A lot of people eat crow basing a judgment on pics.

Gotta' see 'em in hand.

919F are great and great looking in hand. HM Pro looks great for what it is in pics - I may add the 4i - looks good at address in pics, and you have all that help on the wide sole.

When you say the “new gap wedge” are you referring to the HM Pro gap or are you talking about a new gap wedge with its own name? If so, has the name been released? Im very interested in potentially switching out a true wedge for the standard gap wedge that came with my 919F set I just purchased! Any additional info/clarification would be great!

The release mentions a matching 50 degree gap wedge for the Pro. I am guessing it has less offset than the regular HM gap wedge. If you are playing 919F already, then you are probably better going to the standard wedge.

919F top - 900F bottom

919F on the right - 900F on left.

There is not really much in it, 900F slightly smaller topline, more noticeable in 9-P, but still not a huge difference, 919F slightly shorter blade.

Both very nice......

Ok so Mizuno isn’t releasing a new wedge line, correct? Meaning we aren’t going to see an S19 line to replace the S18 wedges? Or a replacement of the T7s with perhaps T8s?

Correct, most current releases are T7 and S18, next iteration most likely a new T series wedge in Fall with new MP release.

Any info on if there will be a left hand option?

Identical lofts to standard 919 Hot Metal?

Was waiting on these to see if I would update my JPX900's with the 919 Hot Metal Pro / 919Hot Metal combo or the 919 Forged / Hot Metal combo.
