As some of you have noted, bag set up's will vary from course to course. Yesterday, Rory was at The Kingdom here at HQ and had 14+ clubs in the bag.

 

We walked 10 holes with him and Harry yesterday afternoon as he played Torrey South for the first time. He stepped up on Hole 9 (614 yards from the tips) and carried his M6 3 FW into the left trap, so then pulled his M5 Ti 5 FW (17.5 loft) and split the fairway with it. He then proceeded to hit it again into the heart of the green for an easy 2-putt birdie....2 x M5 Ti 5 FWs to a 614 yard Par 5!

 

Here's his bag from yesterday, we think his chosen 14 will be:

I agree with you, but I don't think Tiger is going to post a pic on Tuesday if he isn't gaming them on Thursday. He's not a smoke and mirrors kind of guy when it comes to his equipment.

 

I hear ya too. I didn't know the photo was on his IG. Seems like a different cat these days, especially his quote " always fun to put new toys in the bag" really? from a guy who was notorious for not easily switching equipment? Don't know if this is due to better performance or contract? In the recent Rose interview his said he thought it it was funny to see peoples reaction to making an equipment switch, but said he would have "had to" with new Taylormade irons anyway. Either way hope he plays well out there and lights it up.

A lot of guys on tour change out the top of their bags depending on the course. Trust me you will see Tiger change out his 5w for a 2i from time to time.

That's true. I was surprised last year by how much he had a 2 iron in the bag over a 5 wood. Most years have been the other way around with a 5 wood most of the time.
