Hit these at PGA demo day today. Long, easy to hit in a slimmer less offset head. A lot of buzz about these this morning.

Did they feel similar in forgiveness to the Non Pro HM?

Only Hit the pro version . They look so superior the regular HM was not even a factor.

I’m looking for more forgiveness than my i210’s but don’t want a clunky shape. Would these be close to that?

These are definitely interesting! Same offset as the 919 tours, similar top line even. Dang..

the topline isn't close to the 919T at all, closer to 919F

Then that image was deceiving lol. Still, I can handle looking at the forged.

Yep 919F do look better than I originally thought, just got my 5 iron yesterday, beautiful.

A side by side shot of your 919F with your 900F would be great to see especially for those that haven't had a chance to see the 919. I don't believe anyone has posted that side by side here on the forums yet.

900 has a slightly less thick topline and a beveled sole. You get more forgiveness with a slightly thicker top and sole (moving weight to the outside) with the 919F. Other attributes like the open toe give it more forgiveness.

I'm needing to 'blend out' the 5/6 in my Honma bag with a lighter shaft, easier to hit head. I was going to go TM M5 as Modus 105 shaft would feel similar to my Modus 125, but lighter (at no upcharge in TM). Mizuno likely would have Modus at no UC.

If the offset and sole width is much less than the regular HM and around the same as M5, may go for two of these.

I thought the HM 900 were not THAT bad, until you get up to the 5 iron or so. Did not look at the 919 HM because I have the V6 irons now for over a year. I am very interested in seeing and hitting these. And maybe the new RB golf balls.

Hello - I assume these go up against the Callaway Rogue Pros?

Is this where they fit? Thank you

Yes, players distance iron (Rogue Pro, Apex CF19, G700, P790, M5, AP3, Z585)

Wouldn’t the Apex 19 = 919F and the Rogue Pro = 919HM Pro? Forged to forged and cast to cast?

I agree that Rogue Pro is probably closest, but it's not an exact match because Callaway welds the face to the cast frame whereas the HM irons are fully cast.

Ping G400 Max driver w/Aldila Rogue 125 Silver
Ping G425 5 wood & hybrid
Ping G30 irons w/Recoil 95

Ping G425 irons w/Accra ICWT 2.0 95
Ping Glide wedges w/Recoil 110
Ping Redwood Anser - the "real deal!"

i didnt see these at the mizzy booth at the pga show, interested to compare them with the new g410. both seem to be a smaller profile but very forgiving.

Somebody could argue that i500 are players distance and G700 are super game improvement irons...

Agreed, I'm planning on a fitting for new irons in a few weeks (once I confirm my local fitter has everything and the new Mizuno swing DNA)...

Line up I'm looking at comparing are : HM Pro, 919 Forged, i500, G410, Z585, (and maybe P790 and Rogue Pro... just never been a big fan of TM/Cally/Titlist irons so may not bother with those).

Cobra Forged Tec is the closest. Same materials including the Chromoly face. Great black option as well.
