2019 Ping G410 Hybrid and Ping G410 Crossover

Does anyone know the weight of the stock even flow that is an option in the new hybrids? It notes the swing weight is slightly different with this shaft, but I have fared well with ping hybrids with the stock stiff shafts, which I do think are pretty light (70ish grams). When I've had heavier shafts in hybrids I have struggled just wondering if it's noticeably heavier than the Alta, which I'm assuming is around 70 grams.

Stopped by a local golf store my friend owns to grab a box to ship a club and happened to see a 3 iron crossover on the rack. He taped it up and let me get a few swings in with it, have to say its a pretty good looking club and I could easily see it going in the bag. By far the best looking crossover they have made, I had one from a couple years ago(2016) and that thing was just straight terrible. This model is a lot more iron like in appearance and set up, I think its a lot closer in line to the UDI and TM-B driving irons, though prolly not as soft feeling. Only hit about 7-8 balls as I was in a time crunch so didn't pay much attention to the numbers, but carry distance wise it seemed very much inline with my 3 iron UDI if not a little longer carry.

I think Ping has a big winner with this club.

Why Oh Why couldn't the G410s taken on the look of the new cross overs? WHY??????????????????????????????????

Because they're not hollow.

Had a chance to try (indoors) all the stock shaft offerings in the 4 hybrid: Alta CB stiff, Tour 85 R&S, Tensei Pro Blue 80 stiff, and EvenFlow Black 85 5.5 & 6.0. Surprisingly, the EvenFlow Black 85 6.0 was the best of the bunch. Excellent feel and dispersion and better than expected launch for a shaft advertised as 'low'. The hosel adjustments definitely work as advertised. There isn't a ball flight these can't achieve or correct.

I can see myself with at least two in the bag this year.

I think they look even better in person, compared to the one that came out in 2016...its unreal how much better it looks. Have emailed Ping to discuss the build, I would say the only drawback to it is it's length. Have been looking at it to replace my 3 UDI, and do not want to create to big of a gap between the crossover and the 4 iron, but if ordered standard the crossover would be 1.25''(39.75'') longer than my 4 iron(38.5''). Hoping to drop it to 39'' with the proper lie angle and throw the Tensei Pro Blue shaft in it, waiting to hear back if that is an upcharge.

Really interested in the flat options for the G410 hybrids.

I know the old Idea Pro "tour issues" the only difference between those and the retails was the tours were a few degrees flat. And that was one of the all time best hybrids ever made.

Very interested in the 4xover. They look fantastic! I've hit the G and G400 and while I've had decent results, I absolutely couldn't stand looking at them...

Heard back from Ping about the spec'd out 3 iron crossover, they will build it to my desired specs, but doing so would cause it to come in around C5-C6 swing weight he said. Could be remedied with a lot of lead tape, maybe a tip weight...or both, going to have to think on this one. Tensei Pro Blue 80TX shaft is no upcharge, the 90TX is available but he said it would be an upcharge, not sure on that price.

What tipping do they do standard on that shaft in that head?

Cant wait to try these out. I have a flatter swing than most, so the adjustable lie appeals to me allot.

No hotmelt or i500 goo?

14 Pings. Blueprints are incredibly good. Fetch is the most underrated putter on the market. Don't @ me.

I don't know, they said they could make it to my specs and I can request it to "heaviest possible" weight, I do not know what it would eventually come out to.

I am not sure what their standard tipping is, I would think it would go in line with whatever the recommendations are from Mitsu. which is probably around 1'' or so for a 3 iron

Thanks. I plan to call ping later. I have a pro blue 90tx sitting in a corner begging to be put into something. It's been tipped 2 inches so it's either going to go into a crossover or hang out longer...

I have a Tour AD 105 in my UDI right now that I would be tempted to put into the crossover, just curious if Ping will have this thing tricked up at all to make installation more difficult and also what the tip diameter will be.

Went ahead and hit this hybrid today while warming up for a driver test. It was really easy to hit. Really point and shoot. Thought I would be keeping my g400, not so sure now.

Went to GolfMart to try out 5 woods as I have been using a 3 driving iron bent to 18* but want something more versatile for me and even wondering of a 4 wood for off the deck and my 13.5 ts2 off the tee. On a whim saw the g410 hybrid 19*. It was the stock Alta 70s but wanted to see if the hybrid would be a hook machine like most hybrids are for me. Hit a few shots and loved the feel and was carrying better than some of the 5 woods I tried. Looked down and was glad to see an open face and realized it was set to the -1.5* setting. Most of the shots were straight or a slight fade so I am looking to order one with the EF black or Tensei pro blue. I couldnt believe a 17.5 hybrid was so easy to hit and elevate!

Just ordered the 17* crossover from my club. Ship date is not until Mar 19 which is a little disappointing. Requested upcharge grip and custom length but shaft is the stock Tensei 80TX. Anyone else preorder one and have a longer than expected wait time?
