The Blueprint irons look fine. The i500 looks a little worn but that’s not a new club.

While it very well could be a tour only adapter of some kind. Ping adapters have the settings labeled on the portion of the adapter that sits inside the head.

If so, I can't see him in anything less than X Sevens.. Tried one of those in a friend's 8 iron, and it had the trajectory of a 5 iron to me. I hit it flush. LOL

Looking on Getty you can definitely see the dynamic gold shaft band but none of the pictures are good enough to decipher between an X100 or X7

I put ctapers in around October. My initial impression was "I can't work these things like the old s300". Wasn't sure if I'd like them long term. I've gotten used to them so they'll stay in the bag for a while. I moved to a higher spin ball to help a bit. Plus, I don't have to chase pins as much as tour guys.

He hasn’t been hitting his wedges and irons well. Not even close. Maybe he is looking for a smoother transition. He will probably move back to something a bit stiffer like px 6.5 after his trial with the x100
