They have BF event and I ordered the "mystery box". Can't wait to see what it comes with. I really want to try the originals. I hope the good people at TL are mindreaders...

I ordered a pair of outsiders and a mystery box. Looking forward to trying the outsiders. I love my pair of originals and hope the mystery box has a pair. I decided to hold off on ordered a pair of the OG Premium as it wasn't a deal but will most likely buy a pair next year. Can't get enough of these shoes.

I received my order and super happy with the Black Friday purchase.

Mystery box include a pair of originals, hat that fits great, t shirt, and a giant towel. 10/10 would purchase again.

Outsiders look amazing and really glad I finally tried them out.

Really love this company and keeping their line up simple and effective.

I got the same stuff in my box. Not gonna lie I was a little disappointed that it didn’t meet the $250 min that they advertised. All in all still a good deal but 3 $29 dollar items and a $149 shoes don’t quite add up. Still great stuff, so not upset. Looks like most will end up getting similar stuff.

I totally see your point. I was just hoping for a pair of originals so everything else seemed extra to me. Had the t shirt or hat not fit or be a bad design, I would be really disappointed.

Yeah I kinda feel the same way...funny I got the exact same shoes, color and all...same towel and hat....only difference was the shirt...lol.

Seems like it might of been a "package" as the thank you card stated what the package I got in the mystery box was. So maybe they had certain set mystery boxes and we happen to get the same. I was thinking about ordering the green pair of originals too.

I got home from bz trip to open the mystery box. Got a pair of the originals and a pair of the outsiders. They fit differently. The originals feel more secure at the heel as they are higher. The toe area is a little roomy. The sole is thin and feet feel low to the ground. The outsiders feel more snug everywhere. The sole is meatier and looks like have more cushion. Only way to find out which one is better is out on the course. I have a feeling I'll like the Originals better. Got the same colors as the other guys. Weird!

Interested in your take on the Outsiders. I love my originals, but wondering if I would need to go a half size up in the Outsiders. Fwiw...the Originals have been fantastic thus far and not leaked at all during wet rounds.

i ordered a pair of originals and outsiders last week, both in size 9.5 because i had read that for originals to size down .5 size from Nike and Adidas.

well, the originals at 9.5 are a bit snug but seem to be the better fit because i think if i go .5 size up, then it will be too wide. i have that issue with the FJ pro/sl

the outsiders at 9.5 are definitely way too small, so i have sent those back to exchange for a size 10.

my sense though is that i will prefer the originals on the course over the outsiders but the outsiders have more cushion so i could see them being used for more everyday wear. like if i go on vacation and dont want to bring a pair of shoes just for golf.

so id say you should definitely consider sizing .5 size up in outsiders but then again, i havent taken the originals on the course yet and im still waiting for my size 10 to come in the outsiders.

I had the same thought buying the originals last year but I believe the wide toe area is for your foot being able to press out for better footing. You're suppose to feel like you're not wearing shoes. The zero drop shoe. I didn't size down for them and glad I didn't. Probably why the outsiders are too small.

Sorry for the late reply. I haven't had the chance to try out these bad boys. Will report back once I've walked a round in both shoes.

I never gave my input on the originals I purchased when they were first released. The shoe has held up very well. I've realized that shoes like this that keep you flat footed and close to the ground are best for my swing. The only downside to these that I've come across is now that I have a push cart, they are not that great for walking. With next to no padding in the sole, your feet really feel the impact after walking. Other than that, I wear these for range sessions and cart rounds but going to have to switch to different shoes for walking rounds.

10/10 happy with the purchase and want more pairs in the future but to me, it's not great for walking rounds.

wish i saw this post earlier... am wondering if people wearing the original and/or outsiders are walking their rounds.

i walked 18 in the original, about 7.8 miles and it was brutal. my feet were killing me about 7 holes in. especially down hill or slopes. just felt like there was too much room and my toes were mashing up against the shoes. it felt like a workout. my feet and legs were exhausted after 16 holes.

i then wore the outsiders to the driving range the next morning and at the range, these felt much better, but won't really know till i walk a course. but man, not sure that i can give the original another shot walking 18. it was really uncomfortable for me. when i walked around the house in them, they felt good, almost like nike racers. but man, on the course, they were brutal.

on sunday, the day after my round, both my legs were sore. the outside of each of my hamstrings on my left and right leg were incredibly sore. still can feel it a bit, 2 days later....

i talked to a golf fitness coach this morning at UGP that i workout with and he said it could be explained by the zero drop shoes and that it changed my gait. boy was i glad to get into the normatec this morning, but man, it was brutal and totally not what i was expecting walking 18 in the original.

i ordered a pair of puma ignite pro because i really want to find a waterproof shoe in white that is comfortable for walking. my adidas crossknit boost are still the most comfortable for walking but they arent waterproof... sigh

Definitely need to ease into zero drop shoes. A full 18 out of the box, especially zero drop and minimalist profile on the Originals, will do a number on your legs.

I greatly prefer lower drop shoes now that I’ve made the transition.

If you've never worn a "barefoot" style of footwear, it definitely activates a lot of muscles in the feet and calves that you wouldn't normally use and will take some time to adjust. Don't overdo it or you can cause injury. I wouldn't necessarily consider walking a typical 18 hole course "overdoing it" unless you live up in the mountains or you never walk normally. But for sure don't but barefoot style shoes and try to run a 5k in them on day one.

I've only been using TL shoes just recently. Purchased my first pair this past summer and all I can say is that I do not regret it one bit. Both shoes will be great, just depends on which ones you personally like best. The TL shoes that I game now are the Outsiders in white. I may be purchasing 2-3 more pairs this year cause they are so comfortable and you can also wear them off the course which is a huge plus for me.

Had a chance to try out the Originals. I rode but here's my take.

Con - Very little cushion due to thin sole. Very roomy in the toe box. Had to compensate by tightening the laces and that hurt the bridges of my feet.

Pro - On the greens, you can really feel the ground(helps with reading breaks). I guess you feel connected to the ground on all the shots. Grip is good as well.

I didn't have pain but if I walked, I think my feet would've been sore especially in the arch. I'm gonna put Dr. Scholl's inserts for more cushion and arch support. Hoping that would make the toe area less roomy and more snug all around.

I had bought the new True Outsiders. They seemed to be very well made but the inner boot is so tight it was nearly impossible to put on. I actually bought a shoe horn just for those shoes.

Once on, the tightness of the boot was pretty uncomfortable across the tops of my feet. Now this might have been because I have pretty high arches, but they didn't work for me.
