I am content with all 14 though that could change. My bag was assembled by me. I’ve been building for a couple decades. Anyhoo here’s the bag:

Every time I post in this thread, at that moment I am completely 100% content. However, it has NEVER to die stayed the way it was posted previously. I have always added something or traded out for an upgrade or then gone back. I think I need to get black listed from this thread for just spraying mis-information...

PS: As I type this, I added a new Mizzy CLK 22* (turned to 21*) hybrid to replace my former JPX Fli Hi 3 hybrid/steel shaft, and pulled my 4iron out...SAD but true

I'm really close. New driver soon. Not unhappy with the current gamer but saw improvement in the m4. Once the driver is bought then I think I'm set for a while. With a caveat...

I'm working on a custom.putter project. Plumber's neck 2ball fang. When that's done I'll have two 2ball fangs; one face balanced and one plumbers.

I was completely content with my bag earlier this year, but when I replaced my old trusted wedges with new, sharp-grooved, different wedges, my wedge game (and game in general) has suffered.

Very content. I could easily stick with my current setup for a long time.

I could see myself removing the Cobra King Utility eventually since most situations are covered by my F6 Baffler and F8 hybrid, but since I don't have anything else I want to add to the bag I'm fine with having a specialty club.

  • 1 month later...

I used to never be content with most of my clubs. Then, about the 100th time my wife said, “It’s a poor workman who blames his tools”, I decided that maybe she had a point. So, while I’m very content with my current sets, I’m always open to change. It’s a matter of attitude.

You shouldn’t be so content. The F9 and it’s crazy performance per TXG on YouTube is calling your name to upgrade!

I’m much closer now than in recent memory.

Just trying to find the best shaft & settings for my G400 LST (on-course, not LM’s).

Putter will always be whichever is “hot” at the moment among the 5 in my signature.

Here is mine:

9* Ping Anser w/ Ahina

15* V Steel w/ DG Lite

17*, 20*, 23* G25 Hybrids

5-PW Ping S55 w/ ZZ-65

Ping Glide Wedges - 50* SS, 54* WS, 58* ES

Ping Ketsch Counterbalance

That's a nice bag!

#1 you didn't change your 3wood or 20º

Those clubs are typically ones that stay around especially the 20º so it's safe to say they probs work great for you.

The irons IDK but I imagine are neo classics and some of the best of their generation?

The wedges are some of the best current offerings Love my Glides

The putter is a fantastic mallet that has big MOI and nice aiming elements (Can't pick up the ball with it but guess you can't have everything.)

IDK about the driver or the hybrids BUT I can see you've dropped the 4iron so chances are they actually fit the yardage gaps you have and are easier to play than long irons.

Easy to see why your relatively content with your bag, well done.

I’m a self proclaimed equipment HO but this whole Marie Kondo minimalist joy-sparking craze got to me recently. Trying not to add much more golf clutter than I already have. That being said, I have a 4-iron head and a shaft en route to me to complete my 26th iron set... At least I didn’t buy set #27 over the weekend!

I am very close! I want to get some KBS 610s in my wedges and a graphite shaft in my DI. I just did a major overhaul after about 10 years and I’m pretty happy with the results. I have definitely had cabin fever though! As soon as I go more than a week without playing I start to shop. The wife hates it lol
