I'm hooked already into this habit. Way more dangerous than club hoing.

Over the next few years I'd like to add two more to the collection.

The aforementioned Tudor Black Bay.

And this, an absolute beauty:

That Omega will most likely be my next purchase. The Tissot PRS Powermatic has caught my eyes too.

Should I look to sell/trade my Tag Formula 1 alarm for a Circle T?

in a heartbeat; those tag formula 1 looks ehh at best and with your collection of watches, it'll never get to be in the rotation;

at least with the circle t you'll be using it every round while you're knocking in birdies.

Speaking of PAMs, I finally decided on this as a treat to myself...the PAM00653. Picked it up from an AD in Hong Kong for 20% off list price, so I was happy!

I need to find a vintage dealer near me. I love that Seiko on the left. I've been looking for a case like that for a white now. I really dig the Hodinkee Tag Heuer Autavia orange case a lot. Very similar to that Sieko.

Count me in on this group as well. Key on my collection is an older Breitling Chronomat "Blackbird", also have a SuperOcean, 3 Sinns (103 StSa, and 2 EZM3's), as well as a scattering of other watches, including Vintage, Sports watches, lower priced Quartz pieces, Dress watches, and 2 Pocketwatches.

My "Holy Grail" is a Rolex GMT Master II "Pepsi" Red/Blue bezel, but these are getting ridiculously high in price for clean used ones. I just don't feel like paying that much, although they DO retain their value (or rise in value).

Same here. I want a GMT II Root Beer or Batman. I love the Jubilee bracelet, wish you could get one on a Sub.

Does anyone think the prices will fall on GMT's any time soon?

I am personally more a fan of the Black Bay GMT, just on styling.

Based on experience what would be a good price for the said watch in the picture. The one store in my area said they do 10% all Tag watches as that is the max that Tag will allow and states no reason to shop around due to max lowest price.

I don't have a ton of experience in the pricing ballpark but I do know I got my tag for about 25% off retail by buying it in the grey market.

Need some input. One of these two will be my next purchase.

I'm either going to put a strap on my Tag Aquaracer and turn it into my every day watch and buy the Sub or keep the bracelet on my Tag for dressy and go with the Yachtmaster with the blue strap for every day use. In my world, I prefer a tool watch I can wear every day and rarely have a super dressy occasion, the exception rarely for work or a wedding. I work from home and when I travel I usually wear a nice pair of paints and button down maybe with a sport coat.

My concern is the Tag and Sub are so similar in function and look (both black dial/bezel) that I'll just end up wearing the Sub all the time.

I like the Yachtmaster and the red hands and lettering. It is killer on the blue strap and not the same ole Roli everyone buys.

Thoughts?

Personally I like no date watches, I dont wear all mine enough to keep them going to just having to wind, set time and go is nice.

I travel with my Alpina mostly, 12 hour bezel for new time zone, looks good and is uber comfy
