Hello everyone, played golf on and off my whole life but got bit by the bug about six months ago. Active duty military so it can be hard to find time but I believe if your going to do something be good at it so I’m getting lessons and bout to do a club fitting tomorrow (Christmas present) from wife. Will update on how that goes. Gotten to a 18 handicap so far, let’s see how low I can go, looking forward to what 2019 has to offer.

So we are almost half way through 2019 and I have been lucky to play a lot of golf. The course at Camp Pendleton is nice, hard, and most importantly very inexpensive for me. Currently I’ve gotten the handicap down to 10.8, and have been playing in VGA (veteran golf association) tourneys. Playing tournament golf is so much fun, getting nervous and the first tee jitters is awesome.

That’s all I got for an update for now
