There is not much juice in these tournament threads so far. Without Tiger in the field interest seems to lag. I think JT should run away with this. His problem seems to be just letting down on a few holes but his play seems to be at a slightly higher level on this course compared to others. Looking for a JT, Rahm, Matsuyama, Fowler, Phil final round with JT winning by at least 3. That should provide a nice appetizer before the big game.

 

Umm there is a huge story: Am, M. Wolff is close to the lead.... Kid has unique swing, swag, and could win!

Apparently, some asshat stole Archie Bradley's clubs immediately following the Pro-Am on Wednesday. Bradley took to social media for help. The clubs, embroidered bag and all, were found online for sale. By the time Bradley arrived home, PXG had hand delivered a brand new matching set.

I was definitely impressed with the way Wolff was playing yesterday. I really hope that he keeps the momentum going throughout today and into the weekend. One to watch for sure.

I could just watch Wolff's swing on a loop. It's so interesting, and he absolutely clobbers the ball. So much weird movement, but he's in perfect positions (as far as I can tell) when you get to the positions that matter.
