Cut Golf balls

If it says Cut Blue in the alignment line it is 2019. If it says Cut Golf Co 4u it is older model.

Mine say "Cut Blue".

Nice - I haven't tried the new one yet.

Good deal going on Cut Blue single dozens right now, they look to be out of stock but shipping on 2/28. They have 10% off single dozens and i was able to stack another 10% code on that after signing up for their email list. So I got 4 dozen Cut Blue for $75 shipped.

Titleist 913 D3 / Titleist TSi2 15 / Titleist TS2 19h / Miura CB57 4/6/8/P / Miura 55C / Byron DH89 / Mackenzie

I just watched the TXG video on youtube. I had never heard of this ball before. Just ordered a dozen blue and grey. I will be testing them out on my Skytrak when I get them. I have been playing the Chomesoft and Chromsoft X the past 3 seasons so I will post some numbers in a few days. I also have some '18 Pro V1 and V1x I can compare them to.

Titleist TSr2 9* Fujikura Speeder NX 50 Stiff, Taylormade 300 13.5 Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 6 Stiff, Taylormade Stealth Plus 5W Project X Evenflow Red 6.0, Callaway Apex DCB 4-GW Steelfiber i110cw Stiff, Taylormade Hi-Toe 3 54* & 60*, Cobra King Grandsport 35", Maxfli Tour

I ordered one dozen of the blues last year and tested them towards the end of the season. Due to the weather didn't want to make any decisions or a final verdict. After watching the TXG review I will probably have to test them a little more but otherwise they look awesome. I think they just came out with some new blue ones as well but I tested the old ones so will have to give them a try.

I watched the TXG review as well. I'm a low spinner of my irons , and after their review i ordered a trial sleeve of the Blue's . Interested to see how they fare .

Here are my numbers, but first some quick info about me to put the numbers into context. My current index is 8.9. I am not a good ball striker but have a decent short game and putt resonablely well. I am in NY so I haven't played since early November, a 4 month layoff. I have been working on my swing indoors so speed is down a little at the moment. My normal driver SS is 95 MPH and typical carry on a solid drive is 225-230. I am not your average WRX'er who averge 300 yard drives. All of these numbers are from my Skytrak which I have owned for 3 years. I have a lot of experience with GC2 in the past and have compared results between the two and the Skytrak is remarkably accurate for the money. Anyway I have a medium tempo and swing flaw is a slightly early release so AOA is not very steep and I don't generate a lot of spin but I am not a low spin player either. I am using a PXG 0311 50* gap wedge, 0311 7 iron, both with Steelfiber 110 in stiff, and a Titleist TS2 9* with Hzrdus Smoke in stiff for tese tests. My normal yardages with these clubs are usually 110, 158, and 225-230 respectively. So as you can see speed and distance are a little off but spin and launch numbers are pretty much what I am used to seeing. My ball for the past three years has been the Chrome Soft and the the Chrome Soft X since it came out. These are averges of at least 3 decent strikes. I threw out any bad strikes. The K Sig ball is the original version, I got a sleeve from a friend but never gamed them. The Pro Vs are last years version not the one that was just released. Chrome Softs are the previous model as well, not the one released last year with graphene.

Ball, Ball Speed, Launch, Backspin, Carry, Peak Height

Gap Wedge

Chrome Soft X, 82 mph, 31.2*, 10031 rpm, 95y, 23y

Chrome Soft, 82 mph, 32*, 9223 rpm, 95y, 23y

Cut Grey, 81 mph, 31.9*, 9273 rpm, 95y, 23y

Cut Blue, 80 mph, 32.5*, 9185 rpm, 93y, 23y

K Sig, 81 mph, 32*, 9561 rpm, 93y, 23y

Pro V1, 83 mph, 32.4*, 9746 rpm, 93y, 24y

Pro V1x, 81 mph, 33.2*, 9048 rpm, 94y, 24y

B330 RXS, 82 mph, 34.6*, 8716 rpm, 94y, 26y

7 Iron

Chrome Soft X, 108 mph, 24.2*, 6079 rpm, 147y, 32y

Chrome Soft, 108 mph, 25.4*, 6131 rpm, 147y, 33y

Cut Grey, 106 mph, 25.7*, 6291 rpm, 141y, 32y

Cut Blue, 107 mph, 25.1*, 6428 rpm, 143y, 32y

K Sig, 108 mph, 26.2*, 6246 rpm, 144y, 34y

Pro V1, 106 mph, 24.8*, 6167 rpm, 144y, 32y

Pro V1x, 106 mph, 25.4*, 6057 rpm, 144y, 32y

B330 RXS, 106 mph, 25.2*, 5068 rpm, 149y, 31y

Driver

Chrome Soft X, 129 mph, 19.4*, 2322 rpm, 215y, 29y

Chrome Soft, 131 mph, 19.4*, 2658 rpm, 217y, 32y

Cut Grey, 130 mph, 19.1*, 2524 rpm, 215y, 30y

Cut Blue, 130 mph, 18.8*, 2380 rpm, 217y, 29y

K Sig, 127 mph, 19.4*, 2379 rpm, 210y, 28y

Pro V1, 130 mph, 19.3*, 2379 rpm, 214y, 30y

Pro V1x, 129 mph, 18.8*, 2431 rpm, 213y, 29y

B330 RXS, 128 mph, 19.2*, 2037 rpm, 215y, 28y

As you can see there is not much difference between the balls. The only one that stood out of the crowd was the Bridgestone. It launch much higer with the wedge and spun the lowest with all the clubs. With the B330 I could clearly tell it was launching higher even though I was hitting into a net. It felt like it was going up the face of the wedge a little on the strike.

Both Cut balls do look glossier than the others. I personally don't mind but the Skytrak did. At first I got some very strange readings. I remember a few good strikes with the gap wedge and Blue where Skytrak said the spin was 3000-4000 rpm. I then started to place the ball with the line facing the Skytrak and that helped a lot, no more missed readings. I guess the shine must have threw off the Skytrak. Another thing I want to point out is the sound/feel of the Cut balls. They sound/feel strange, like hitting cheap range balls, they weren't rocks but have a clickyness to them. All the other balls sound/feel slightly different but all feel solid. My favorable were the Pro Vs and next the Chrome softs. I haven't putted with the Cut balls yet, I will probably try them later tonight. I tied to keep it short but there was a lot of info and impressions. Let me know if you have any questions.

Titleist TSr2 9* Fujikura Speeder NX 50 Stiff, Taylormade 300 13.5 Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 6 Stiff, Taylormade Stealth Plus 5W Project X Evenflow Red 6.0, Callaway Apex DCB 4-GW Steelfiber i110cw Stiff, Taylormade Hi-Toe 3 54* & 60*, Cobra King Grandsport 35", Maxfli Tour

Ya just saw the TXG video a few minutes ago and the Blue looks really good. Think I might have to order a dozen and give them a try.

Can anyone compare the Blue to a V1x or the Tour BXS (330S).

For me the Blue spins higher across the bag. Wedges and irons spun much more then prov1x 500-700 rpm and driver was like 200-300 rpm more

Hey guys finally got to test out my cut blues that just arrived. I normally play a TP5. I book a 1.5 simulator session inside. Played with 3 cuts and 3 tp5s. I would say the blues are slightly firmer than the tp5. They did definitely spin faster! But at the end of the session the blues were pretty beat up where the tp5 still looked brand new. Not the greatest of pics I know, I can take more when I have better lighting.

I didn’t notice any differences other than it being more firm and spun a tad bit higher.I think the tp5 would outpreform it on those windy days. Off the putter it was slightly more clicky. But felt great. I’m more concerned about the durability issue with it.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is a tad bit 100-200 rpm or 500-600?

Off the driver I would say some where around 300-500 on average. Off the irons I was getting 700-900rpms higher. This was on a track man 4.

Thanks. A little concerning to me. The extra iron spin would be ok, but my driver typically has 2800-3000 rpm. Another 300-500 rpm would not be good.

I just finished playing my first round with Cut Blue. First let me say I ordered them after reading these reviews and I might of had unrealistic expectations of this being a "KSig that is actually for sale".

The first wedge and every other wedge after them seemed to dramatically scuff/cut the cover.

The spin around the green was non existent. I had 3 pitches from <30 yards that hit and rolled off the green on the other side.

The one positive was that they were long and straight off the tee.

I would compare these to the Top Flight Gamers. They are not in the same league as a ProV1, Chromesoft, or Ksigs.

Just wanted to share my experience. Take it for what it is worth.

Check #32 which is Cut Blue

IMO TXG should not be considered a static expert on anything . Unless it’s how to make a GCQuad give long drive numbers for some reason.

I don’t buy that , not for one second.

Feel free to believe what you like though.
